The Liberty Humane Society is back with our adoptable pets of the week. Check out these cuties ready for their forever homes:

    Pickles

Pickles is definitely a stunner. His looks are made all the more special by the fact that he is a male calico cat, which is very rare. When he first came to Liberty Humane Society, his thick coat hid how thin he was. Loving care and a steady diet helped him to gain some weight.

One volunteer calls Pickles a ‘totally cool cat’. This beau tricolor is comfortable being held, and loves to be scratched behind the ears. Pickles also like to play, and can be quite frisky. If you dangle a toy in front of him, he will give it his full focus, zipping about his cage, trying to grab it with his paws. When Pickles is ready to settle down for some quiet time, he will vocalize and let you know.

Might you be Pickles forever friend? Drop on by for a play session with him and find out!

    Berry

Berry is just a little ball of sweetness! She is in a foster home right now because the shelter environment made her a little nervous. Her foster mommy has nothing but wonderful things to say about her. At home, she is so affectionate and absolutely loves to crawl up in her lap and get belly rubs.

Berry and her foster mom also love to go for long walks together. She is a true lady on a leash and is working to learn commands such as sit and stay. Her personality really shines when she’s in the company of children. She is calm, well-behaved in their presence and will gladly give up a toy if they wish to play with it.

All this angel needs now is a permanent home to call her own!

Make sure to visit the Liberty Humane Society at 235 Jersey City Blvd, Jersey City, NJ to hang with these babies and more!
