Most of us in the NYC metro can all agree that we work hard…right? Long weeks filled with long hours — affecting our ability to get even the smallest tasks completed. We’re not talking grocery shopping, or picking up an engagement gift — more like the important stuff: eyebrow waxing, facials, manicures [shoutout to #HGmanimonday], and of course — your summer glow!
We’ve done our research and have scoped out the latest and greatest beauty spots open late night {til 9 or later!} in Hoboken for your next beauty appointment post-workday. Here’s the scoop:
Hair.

Caru
Though Caru is closed on Mondays, they are open til 10pm Tuesday through Friday which provides our Path riders with some decent availability for a late night hair delight {see what I did there?}. Whether it is a conditioning treatment, a touch up, cut or blowout they accept their last appointment at 9pm. I have had the pleasure of being one of their later clients due to my work schedule, and the staff is always a pleasure to be around even after a long day. Pro tip: Be sure to ask for Brittney C when making your appointment!
Two 01
Two 01 is HOT off the press! Hair guru, Ashley Branda, just opened up the hip, modern, one-of-a-kind salon last week {located at 404 14th street}. Two 01 is open late during the week [10pm], accepting the very last appointment for a cut and blowout at 9pm. Ashley and her team are GIRL BOSSES and we couldn’t be more excited to share their late night opportunities for all of our hard working readers looking for a fresh cut.
Facials.
EC Beauty Studio
It is no secret that HG <3’s EC Beauty Studio — and even more so that they offer late appointments during the week. EC Studio {located right across from the Path} is open Monday through Friday til 9pm. Their last facial appointment begins at 8pm. Should you only require an eyebrow wax, they can take you as late as 8:45pm! EC also offers spray tanning making their last appointment for your JLO glow at 8:30pm. Be sure to ask for Erica or Michele upon booking your appointment.
Massages.
^Because sometimes sitting in a cubicle and commuting can really get to you.
Moonlight Spa
If you’re looking to wind down on your commute home, Moonlight spa {located at 722 Washington Street} is open until 10pm Monday through Friday. Whether it is a back massage or foot reflexology, your body will thank you! Pro Tip: When booking your appointment, ask for Ana.
Massage Envy
Located near the ferry in Maxwell Place, you’ll find Massage Envy is open until 10pm Monday through Friday with a variety of masseuses for every type of body issue. Be sure to call ahead of time to check on member and non-member rates and availability.
Body Balance
Right across from the path you’ll find Body Balance which is open Monday through Friday until 10pm. Perfect for those nights you want to relax and followed by a leisurely walk home and some beauty rest 🙂
Waxing.
European Wax Center
EWC is open on Mondays until 8pm and Tuesday through Friday til 9pm. Located in Maxwell Place {E-Z access from the Ferry and blocks away from the bus stop}, EWC is a true gem. I’ve had the pleasure of going here the duration of my residency in Hoboken (about 5 years now) and working with Alyssa. Every time I have a service, I almost forget why I am there! Alyssa is professional and personable and I love my visits with her. EWC accepts their last appointment at 8:45pm so make sure you call ahead of time.
Nails.
^No matter the condition of your feet, you’re covered late night.
The Nail Bar
Midtown: This was a hard one to land, but The Nail Bar is open Tuesday through Thursday 9pm, Fridays open until 8pm. Located blocks from the light rail, The Nail Bar is available for those late night mani emergencies.
Nail Atelier
Downtown: Nail Atelier is also open until 9pm Monday through Friday. Not far from Luca Brasi’s and Tony Baloney’s you can pick up dinner for you and the roomie on your way home from work AND hop on a quick mani. Don’t forget to tag #HGmanimonday in your mani posts!
Spray Tanning.

Planet Sun
Only in Jersey will you find THREE locations for Planet Sun in one square mile. Their downtown location is 225 Washington St., their midtown location is 416 Washington St. and their uptown location is 55 14th St. Planet Sun is giving us a hard time not stopping in for a spray tan or teeth whitening with all of their options. ALL of the locations are open until 9pm and their last appointment is at 8pm.
Dina’s Kiss and Makeup (*Currently closed due to fire this past February)
DKM is open Tuesday through Thursday until 9pm by appointment only and is known for one of the best spray tans in town! DKM is close to the path, Basile’s and CVS so you can run errands and grab a quick bite pre/post tan if need be. Be sure to call ahead of time to lock in your time with the spray tan queen herself — or you can book online at DKMcosmetics.com.
Tre Chique
If there’s anything that speaks to women on the go — it’s the era of mobile beauty. And you’re in luck because Tre Chique offers just that. If there’s a downpour, it’s snowing or you just really don’t want to drive, a spray tan can still be in your future and done right in your living room. An in-home custom airbrush costs $90, so it’s not exactly for those pinching pennies, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
