Happy Friday Hoboken! While it’s been a rainy, VERY rough week, this last weekend in September is FULL of things to do – including Bark in the Park, a Hoboken block party, an amazing vintage sale, and so much more. So if you’re staying in town to enjoy the weekend — you can make your plans:

New York City NEDA Walk: Sunday, October 2nd from 9:00AM-11:30AM

Help join the fight against eating disorders at the NYC NEDA Walk this Sunday morning. Each year, NEDA, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, organizes this walk that helps raise awareness and vital funds to support the millions of individuals and families affected by eating disorders. This walk will include aerie giveaways, flash tattoos, card-making, entertainment, yoga, inspirational speakers (including Aerie Role Model, Iskra Lawrence), and round trip walk across the Brooklyn Bridge! Club Pilates 2023

Hoboken Comedy Festival: Friday, September 30th-Sunday, October 2nd

The 7th Annual Hoboken Comedy Festival is taking place throughout the weekend! The comedy festival raises money for Hudson County’s Jersey City-based Liberty Humane Society — a non profit animal shelter. Catch any of the following shows: Friday @ Willie McBrides {8PM & 10PM}, Saturday @ Bark in the Park & The Shannon {10PM}, Sunday @ Maxwell’s {8PM}.

Bark in the Park: Saturday, October 1st from 12:00PM-6:00PM

This Saturday Liberty Humane Society’s biggest fundraiser of the year, Bark in the Park, will take place!! There you’ll find furry friends {an adoption van will be present!}, great food & beer, face painting, local music, pet costume contest, and the NJ Devils hockey team! All donations raised though this event go directly towards providing medical care, spay/neuter, adoption, and foster programs for local homeless animals. Register/donate here to help them reach their goal of $50,000 and to increase awareness for LHS. Located at 1 5th Street in Hoboken. We hope to see you all there!

10th Street Block Party: Saturday, October 1st from 12:00PM-sunset

From noon till sunset, 10th Street will be shut down for the Turtle Club and 10th & Willow’s block party! Including an outdoor beer garden & dining, barbecue, a DJ, bouncy castle, face painting for the kids, and so much more! Find the festivities between Park & Willow. 

Hoboken Scavenger Hunt: Saturday, October 1st from 12:00PM-5:00PM

One of our favorite organizations, True Mentors, is having their annual Hoboken Scavenger Hunt this Saturday! Expect fun challenges that vary between mental and physical obstacles, great people, and a chance to explore all over our mile square town. People’s Choice {Apple} Desert Contest: Sunday, October 2nd at 11:00AM

The second annual ‘People’s Choice Apple Dessert Contest‘ will take place this Sunday at the Riverview Farmers Market in Jersey City! Enter any dessert made with NJ grown apples from 11:00AM-noon, then taste & vote from noon-2:00PM {$5 suggested donation}. ***From 10-3pm they will be collecting winter clothing donations {coats, scarves, hats, gloves, etc} for Jersey City residents in need ❤️

Autumn Cookie Workshop: Sunday, October 2nd from 11:00AM-12:15PM
