Arm Candy Opening Ceremony: Friday, November 6th from 5-9:00PM

Join EatMetal art jewelry for the Opening Reception of the Arm Candy Exhibition this weekend. from 5-9:00PMpm. The exhibit is curated by Elizabeth Tokoly, owner of EatMetal Art Jewelry Gallery.  Arm Candy is an irresistible companion to accompany you to your next significant event, social affair or even for an ordinary day.  It is a piece that can bring you a feeling or a belief you can rely on.  The confidence to do or be anything.  The exhibition showcases work of 10 national and international Contemporary Art Jewelers.

This weekend, Maxwell’s presents the Bern & The Brights EP Release Show with special guests Christina Alessi & The Toll Collectors, and Autum CityDoors for this event open at 8:30PM and are $10 at the door. You must be 21 or over to enter.

Wine Tastings of France: Saturday, November 7th from 1:45-4:00PM

Court Street will host one of their monthly wine tastings on Saturday. This weekend’s theme is the wines of France. A selection of cheese and crackers is served during the tasting, however, they strongly recommend that you have lunch prior to the tasting they are not open for lunch). Yoga Inversion Workshop: Saturday, November 7th from 3-5:00PM

Yoga instructor Janel DuRuss will lead an inversions workshop this weekend at Mimi Yoga. In this workshop you’ll learn skills and techniques to feel comfortable upside down with your body weight reversed. You’ll push through your fear and learn how to properly fall out of poses. And you’ll be taught the mechanics of proper alignment to sustain and grow. The workshop is $45 if purchased before November 7th and $55 if purchased the day of.

Shuffleboard Tournament at The Ale House: Saturday, November 7th at 4:00PM

The Ale House will host a shuffleboard tournament this weekend with cash prizes available. You team can have 2-4 players. It is $50 to enter. You can email info@joinABL.com to register or just register the day of the event.

Candy Shoppe & Cocktail Bop: Saturday, November 7th from 5-8:00PM

The Candy Shoppe Cocktail Bop will be held at the Kolo Klub from 5-8:00PM on Saturday. Attendees will be entered for a chance to win a signature cake from Carlo’s Bakery. The event, being hosted by Anne Heap of Pink Cake Box, Elisa Strauss of Confetti Cakes and Kate Sullivan of Cake Power, will be emceed by Tara Bernie, senior field producer for NBC’s Access Hollywood and Access Hollywood Live.  Come dance to Live Jazz by Gin Fizz! Drink and be merry as you sip signature cocktails, delve into delicious savories, and end on amazing desserts presented by award winning Food Network pastry chefs.  There will be a silent auction, 50/50 and more!! For a limited time only, purchase 4 tickets for a discounted price of $240!   All proceeds will help raise funds and awareness for Icing Smiles, a nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration cakes and other treats to families impacted by the critical illness of a child.

This Saturday, head to Maxell’s to enjoy live music with The Clocktown Giants with Ascending from Ashes and Atomic Beauty.  Ticket’s are $10 each and can be purchased at the door

Hoboken Artists Studio Tour: Sunday, November 8th from 12-6:00PM

The Hoboken Artists Studio Tour is a wonderful way to spend the day exploring the art and culture our town has to offer. The tour is designed so that you can easily walk from studio to studio, gallery to gallery. As diverse as the art itself, the tour’s popularity draws artists far beyond the banks of Hoboken. You will see art in many forms, representing an exciting variety of mediums. Visitors will have a chance to meet the artists, photographers, sculptors and artisans and witness the creative process at work. Even poets, musicians and performance artists will be on hand to make your day a memorable one. For more information email at gfallo@hobokennj.gov and click here for map.
