Fund For a Better Waterfront: Friday, July 10th  from 12-2:00PM

FBW Sweet Victory

Snap Fitness JC

On July 10, 1990, thousands of Hoboken voters dramatically altered the development of the waterfront. Voters defeated the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and the City of Hoboken agreement: a massive 3.2 million sq. ft. development slated for the South Waterfront that would have eliminated the parks and outdoor space that we currently enjoy-whoaaa could you even imagine {see a picture of what was proposed here} It led to the creation of Fund For A Better Water Front {FBW} and a vision for a continuous public park along the Hudson River. Join FBW in celebrating the 25th anniversary of the sweet victory at the Annette Illing Memorial on Pier A Park. To top the celebration off there will be a cake donated by Carlo’s Bakeryyum!  Today, the award-winning park at the south waterfront is now a reality, a public space enjoyed by all.
