The Great Love Debate: Thursday, May 12th at 8:00PM

We are very excited to announce our editor {+founder}, Jennifer Tripucka, will be a panelist in the upcoming “Great Love Debate“!! This nationally-touring interactive debate will be held at Hoboken’s Mile Square Theatre on Thursday, May 12th at 8:00PM and you’re invited. You can expect an exciting, feisty, and hilarious evening from panelist’s who dish about relationships. Host, Brian Howie, will be joined by the following panel: Chris Manzo (Bravo’s Manzod with Children), Jennifer Tripucka (our girllllll!), Lynn Hazan (from ChicpeaJC), and author/comedian Jeff Kreisler (Get Rich Cheating, Showbiz Tonight). Visions Exhibit at hob’ art: Friday, May 6th-Sunday, May 22nd

hob’ art, located at 720 Monroe Street, is currently hosting a ‘Visions’ Exhibit and you can check it out all weekend! Including work by artists: Alberte Bernier, Miriam Untoria, Katie Duffy McGeehin, and Rich Roberts! Hours for the exhibit are 1-5pm, Thursday-Sunday.

This Saturday, The Hoboken Shade Tree Commission will be giving away 2,000 small trees (seedlings and saplings) to Hoboken residents! The trees are perfect for backyards and large pots but are currently too small for street trees. Types of trees include red maple, white oak, white pine, norway spruce, & more! From 5:00PM-8:00PM, Hotel Victor Bar & Grill will host ‘Painting for Paws‘ to support the animals in need at Happy Homes — a nonprofit charitable organization that rescues, rehabilitates, and finds homes for homeless animals throughout NY and NJ. Each $30 ticket includes step-by-step guidance, supplies, your very own painting, and drink specials! Must be 21 years of age to participate — tickets here. Located at 77 Hudson Street. 

The 18th Annual HoHa Classic 5k: Sunday, May 8th at 10:00AM
