There’s so much to do this weekend to celebrate a weekend of love in Hoboken. Cozy up to your valentine, grab your gal-entines and go shopping/pampering, or go out to celebrate the love in your life. We put together some of our favorite events for couples and singles so get out there, brave the {extremely} cold weather and spread the love!

 3. Liberty Humane Society “Adopt Love”: Friday, February 13th from 2-7:00pm and Saturday & Sunday, February 14th and 15th from 11AM-4:00PM

Spend your Valentine’s Day bringing some puppy love to your life! Liberty Humane Society, the only non-profit animal shelter in Hudson County, will host its first adoption promotion of 2015 over Valentine’s Day Weekend, reducing adoption fees from the usual $12-$225 to only $14 for qualified adopters. From February 13th through the 15th, the steeply discounted adoption fees will help the homeless animals Liberty Humane Society takes in from it’s partner communities find their loving forever homes.  All animals adopted from Liberty Humane Society are spay/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before they are sent home.  Adopters can now also have custom name tags made for their new pet on site at the local shelter. 4. Hands-on Jewelry Workshops with Elizabeth Ann at EatMetal, Inc., The Fine Art of Design: February 12th and 13th from 6:30-9:30PM & February 14th from 12-3:00PM

Grab your gal-entines and have some fun while giving yourself the gift of stylish jewelry. Each three hour workshop includes the cost of materials and tools for $85. Bring a friend and get 15% off or snag a group deal of 20% off for five or more people. Learn to make initial or name plate necklaces, stamping, texturing, circle cutting, drilling, basic assembling, wire wrapping, and using a forged S clasp. 5. Hello Hoboken’s Valentine’s Day Masquerade Party: Saturday, February 14th from 6-10:00PM

Whether you’re single, attached, or looking for a night out with friends, this event is for you! Wear a mask and pay $15 to get a wristband and have access to great specials throughout the night. The wristband gives you access to the 2nd floor of Black Bear and Mills Tavern and access to the bar at Tally Ho. All three bars will have fabulous drinks specials like $4 house wines and $5 mixed drinks. Finger foods will be available while they last and there will be chances to win great prizes including a $200 dinner for two gift card. 6. Teak Valentine’s Day Dinner: Saturday, February 14th

Teak’s Valentine’s menu includes a four course meal with two glasses of champagne for $125 per couple, one of the best deals we found. You’ll also be able to enjoy live entertainment and a photographer to snap some pictures of you and your valentine. If you’re looking for a dinner option where you can stay and dance the night away afterwards, this is a good choice. Call (201) 653-6888 to make a reservation.

7. Candlelit Dinner at Anthony David’s: Saturday, February 14th from 5-10:00PM

Anthony David’s is a Hoboken staple for romantic date nights and their Valentine’s Day prix-fixe menu lives up to their reputation. The poached lobster and petit filet looks irresistible. And, who doesn’t love a BYOB? Their three course meal is $85 per person and reservations are available from 5-10:00pm by calling 201-222-8399. Their sister restaurant, Bin 14, looks equally delicious.

8. His & Hers Menu at Zylo: Saturday, February 14 from 5-11:00PM

Zylo has upped the creativity level of their menu in recent months and their Valentine’s Day menu follows the trend. The His & Hers option is something different then typical Valentine’s tasting menus. With a focus on local, in-season ingredients, it seems like a win. Plus, it offers the best restaurant view in Hoboken. The base menu price is $75 per person and they offer a wine pairing for an additional $25 per person. Check out their menu here and be sure take a look at the other new options they’re now offering on their regular menu.

9. San Giuseppe’s Valentine’s Day Special: Saturday, February 14th from 4:30-11:00PM

For a cozy BYOB option, San Giuseppe’s is the place to go. Their three course prix fixe menu offers more traditional Italian items at $49.95 per person. The butternut squash lasagna with mushrooms and truffle oil sounds like a must have. They’re also conveniently located across from Bowtie Cinemas which makes for a great dinner and a movie date {50 Shades anyone?}. They’re located at 1320 Adams Street. You can make reservations by visiting their website or using OpenTable.

10. Pizza, BYOB, and the AnaBel Trio at Hoboken Hot House: Saturday, February 14th

Relax with your valentine while enjoying live music, pizza and other food specials along with a complimentary glass of champagne. The event is BYOB so bring your favorite bottle of wine to enjoy. This is a great way to enjoy a cozy night out. Hoboken Hot House is located at 200 Monroe Street.

11.  Third Annual “F*@K Valentine’s Day” at the Biergarten: Saturday, February 14th

Looking for a fun way to meet your valentine? Come out to the Pilsener Haus & Biergarten to enjoy beer, food, flowers, and chocolate. Each person will be given half of a card at the door. You must then find your match and head up to the bar. You both have to do what is requested of you on the card and then you can enjoy a free beer. Sounds like a great way to meet new people, share some laughs, and spread some love. The Biergarten is located on 15th street between Grand and Adams.

12. Matt Smith’s Valentine’s Day Bash at McSwiggin’s Pub: Saturday, February 14th 7-10:00PM

The reigning King of McSwiggan’s, Matt Smith, is hosting his first Valentine’s Day bash for singles. $40 will get you open bar and food. Our favorite relationship guru, Mike Goldstein, will be there dishing out his tips on dating. Click here for more event info.

13. Amanda’s Wine Lover’s Dinner: Sunday, February 15th at 6:00PM

Keep the celebrations going all weekend long at Amanda’s wine dinner. Their wine list is one of the most noted in town and for $75 you can enjoy some of their favorites paired with a five course tasting menu. These events are a great way to meet other wine-lovers and foodies. Call 201-798-0101 for reservations.
