• HobokenGirl’s Unique Hoboken Holiday Gift Guide: Part I

Ahhh the holidays. A time of fun, stress, and cocktails.

Panic setting in: only a few days left until Hanukkah begins, and about 2.5 weeks until Christmas! Crazy how time flies. Therefore, I’m compiling some of my favorite gift ideas I’ve come across in the Boken to help you out a bit. I’ll come back with round two – but would love to hear your ideas as well!

    1. Heal Hoboken Gear

I mentioned this earlier, but HealHoboken.org has made some amazing sweatshirt designs with the proceeds going to RebuildHoboken.com. Loves it!

    2. Hoboken Bliss Spa Day

Nothing better than a spa day. Facials, massage…you name it. Bliss has it. ‘Nuff said. Spa Aura is also fantastic for mani/pedis too!

    3. Glass Beaded Wine Charms from Trends Boutique

You’ll never confuse wine glasses again with these bad boys. A perfect gift for the lush in your life!

    4. ShleeBee Jewelry

Currently being sold at Iconic Fashion Lounge and Aaraa in Hoboken, ShleeBee is a chic and unique accessories line you should definitely check out. I just looove the studded and spiked bracelet I came across the other day. The best part? It was created by a local Hoboken resident!

    5. Cocktail Classes at Kolo Klub

Master the classics: whiskey, rum, pisco or cognac cocktails…shaken or stirred, perfect winter warm-ups. You can do a single class or get a pack! Such a great gift idea.

    6. Cake Decorating Classes at the Hudson Cakery

For the baker and cake makers in your life…step it up a notch with a private cake lesson with Jennifer of the Hudson Cakery. She makes amazing cakes, and she’s ready to pass on her knowledge. More about the Hudson Cakery here.

    7. Work It Out Class Pack

Kick-start the new year with a workout pack from the only boutique gym in Hoboken – Work It Out. Read more about my visit to WiO here.

    8. Blowouts at Studio Z (Upper Grand) by Amy

Only $25 for a blowout by Amy at Studio Z. Not bad to buy a pack of those for all those holiday parties and NYE coming up!

    9. Personalized Makeup Lessons (or Makeovers!) at Dina’s Kiss and Makeup

Here’s what you’ll get: Color lesson, a custom foundation and different types, contouring & bronzing tips, color placement, eye shadow tips & tricks, how to apply eye & lip liner, eyebrow grooming, tricks for a long-lasting makeover, and a makeup bag cleanout. You will also receive a full makeover!
