Positive Thinking

There’s no tragedy like a death of a child. Or in this case, many children.

I wrote about it on my personal page, but wanted to say here how devastated I am about the Connecticut tragedy. I don’t normally talk about this part of my life on the blog – but as a school counselor (my full time job), this hits home so hard. My days (and many weekends during my photoshoots) are spent with children – and I consider myself the luckiest person to be able to do two things I love — that revolve around spending time with kids. Words cannot describe what it must feel like to lose a child – beautiful, innocent children. Everyone is feeling a lot of things about this…but right now, anger and despair are at the top of my list. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this senseless tragedy. Hug your loved ones extra tight today.
