Washington General Store

Hobbs Inc

This gem of a midtown find houses a variety of both Christmas decor and Hanukkah fun — and the menorahs in this unique gift store do not disappoint. This store, opened by Hoboken resident {and former HG of the Week} Meghan Lavelle, was created out of a need for more luxury gift shops in town. Here, you’ll find beautiful sterling silver menorahs {Editor’s note: one I even bought for $50 for my house!} as well as Chanukah candles. One-stop shop for the win.

Hudson Paperie

If looking for a downtown spot to grab some Hanukkah gelt, Hudson Paperie is your go-to. This stationery spot houses several Jewish items including menorahs and other decor {in addition to fun and cheeky cards to send your family and friends!}. This lovely shop also carries Marble and Vine wrapping paper which comes in blue, white, and silver.

Battaglia’s Home

If you’ve driven into Hoboken on Willow Avenue {from the Lincoln Tunnel exit}, it’s pretty hard to miss Battaglias. Located at 1414 Willow Avenue, this two-story building is chock FULL of furniture, decor, kitchen supplies, and gifts — and you guessed it: Hanukkah decor! While the Jewish decor isn’t abundant, it’s nice to see it represented with blue and silver hues. There are also a ton of cookbooks and other fun gifts to get every type of person you’d ever need to buy for.

OK, you know we never like to say this, but if you’re reaaaally in a pinch for something specific [like dreidels, gold coins, etc] and need to buy in bulk, check out Target or Bed Bath and Beyond in Jersey City for a ton of Hanukkah supplies — but truthfully, we think you’ll find a nice array in town.
