The Hoboken Arts & Music Festival on Sept 28th

If you’ve lived or frequented Hoboken in the past few years {or more}, you of course know that two Sundays — one in May and one in September — are famous for their Hoboken Art and Music Festivals. The most recent one was the 21st annual, which was a packed house. However, if you were out of town, have no fear…we’ve compiled a list of our favorite local stuff that you will be sorry you missed {and can most likely check out in Hoboken or online}.

1. Urban Consign & Design

Hobbs Inc

Located on Harrison Street, this upscale furniture consignment gallery is chock full of fun goodies, including some artifacts from Boardwalk Empire episodes. If you missed it during the festival, definitely stop by their store!

2. Peanut Butter Boy – Crunch Power Peanut Butter

Peanut Butter…that is beyond delicious. It has 3 ingredients: peanuts, palm oil, and sea salt. All you need for a delicious PB. For more info, check out the blog post about PBB here. You can order it directly from their website! It won’t disappoint.

3. The Bigelow Mobile Tea Bar

Bigelow Mobile Tea Bar

Timed to coincide with 70th anniversary celebration of the company’s founding, the Bigelow Mobile Tea Bar offered fresh-brewed samples of popular teas such as “Constant Comment,” introduce new flavors and share the Bigelow family story and their passion for tea through a contemporary, mobile, and interactive experience…and with FREE tea! Plus, when you go inside, you get to see this:

So fun! Yummy tea.

4. Historic Photo Gallery – vintage cameras

My new cameras — additions to the vintage collection.

For $135 for both, it wasn’t a bad deal at all. This stand also had a ton of historic photos that were remastered. You can check them out at HistoricPhotoGallery.com.

5. Refurbished with Love

So, you may remember Refurbished with Love {upcycling and refurbishing co}’s awesome custom design for my apartment here, but when you find out this is a wine cork display is actually the perfect wall hanging piece for greeting cards and save the dates. I absolutely love it, and at a whopping $8 it had to come home with me…since I don’t have the time or energy to drink 40 bottles of wine quickly so that I can make this myself.

6. Om Sweet Home Gluten Free Blueberry Scones

You may have seen Om Sweet Home by Simply Home Goods sharing a tent with the Bwé Kafe — delicious coffee {albeit I wish they had decaf iced coffee available, boo}. Yummy PB Bars + scones, and lots of other gluten free and vegan goodies. Luckily, you can find these bad boys at Bwé, City of Saints {formerly known as Red Lion}, and several other shops around town. YUM.

7. Spices – all over da place.

I won’t lie to you and say I still have the card of this spice/tea stand. But, it smelled delicious, and there were literally dozens of spices and loose teas to choose from. Ya snooze ya lose! Anyone know the name?

8. Love Travels Maps

In case you missed this awesome Etsy store live in the flesh, click here to order your custom Hoboken {or anywhere} print. SUCH an awesome idea/decor for any house or apartment.

9. Jersey Plate Art

Want something in writing on your wall? This literally was the coolest thing ever. I was able to pick out the letters from each state and they {custom} made it right in front of me. This will be my married name, btw. I love this piece — going in our new apartment! Follow @JerseyPlateArt on Insta.

10. Leo the Jewish English Bulldog

I mean… need I say more? This last one you won’t be able to order online. ha ha. Too bad. He’s a gem. <3

What was your favorite part of the Art & Music Festival? Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
