St. Patrick’s Day, a celebration of Irish culture, an excuse to drink green beer, and the day where we eat as much corned beef and cabbage as we possibly can, falls on March 17th. This holiday, which was first called the Feast Day of St. Patrick, was established in 1631 by the Catholic Church to honor St. Patrick, the primary patron saint of Ireland. Whether you’re Irish by blood or just for the day, there are plenty of local events to celebrate this historic holiday. Read on for a guide to St. Patrick’s Day events in Hoboken + Jersey City for 2025.
