Dog Days of Summer kick off on Monday, so head over to House of ‘Que for dinner on the patio with your furry friend. Taco Tuesday at LasOlas {Hoboken}
Make this Tuesday a positive one with Taco Tuesdays at LasOlas. Tacos are only $3 and their happy hour runs from 4 PM to 8 PM with $4 draft beer, $4 well drinks, and $5 glasses of wine. BTW – LasOlas mainly serves sushi, so if you’d rather skip the tacos or can’t make up your mind, LasOlas has a variety of options. They also serve $10 lunch specials from 12 PM to 3 PM.
Wine by Farmers at The Cliff {Jersey City}
Ever wonder the benefits of drinking natural and organic wines? Find out the facts at the Wine by Farmers event hosted by Chris Leo from PS Wine Bar at The Cliff on Tuesday. The tasting will offer eight wines as well as information that will satisfy all your curiosities. Yummy food from The Cliff will be served as well. Party with Purpose Happy Hour at Pier 13 {Hoboken}
If you haven’t heard of Party with Purpose by now, this is definitely an organization you want to look into. We mentioned them in our June 2017 Volunteer Opportunities but as a quick recap – PWP is a Hoboken-based organization that brings people and professionals together to organize events that raise money for children’s charities. On Wednesday, they’ll be at Pier 13 promoting their purpose as well as their upcoming events. Stop by the pier and enjoy 1/2-priced drink specials while learning about this awesome organization. Brix City Brewing at Atlas Public House {Jersey City}
Since you’ll be learning about organic wines on Tuesday, round out your knowledge of spirits with craft brews on Wednesday. From 7 PM to 10 PM for $50, Brix City Brewing is hosting a five course guided pairing at Atlas Public House. There will be a selection of two casks and three kegs with each beer presented by their chef and head brewer.

Wok to Walk Day {Hoboken}
Wok to Walk is opening on Friday and they’re offering free lunch and dinner to celebrate. Lunch will be from 12 PM to 2 PM and dinner will be from 5 PM to 8 PM. You can also join a great volunteer opportunity as TRUE Mentors will be giving insight on their program, recruiting volunteers, and collecting donations.
Pat Van Dyke at Fox + Crow {Jersey City}
Spend your Friday night at Fox + Crow sipping one of their cocktails or mixed drinks from their happy hour at 5 PM to 7 PM. Now this is a fiesta of a brunch that you need to try. From avocado toast and breakfast burritos to fresh squeezed juice and an assortment of guac, Orale‘s brunch menu will put the brightness in your Saturday morning. Just look at those churro-waffles…
Sunday – July 2nd
Brunch at The Shep {Hoboken}
Brunch at The Shepherd + The Knucklehead is what you need to be doing on Sunday in Hoboken. Stop by from 11 AM to 3 PM and get your hands on a $5 Bloody Mary, a $25 bucket of Prosecco, or a $15 pitcher of Sangria.
