Hello Hydration Sidebar

Dress for Success was founded in 1997 by Nancy Lublin to help disadvantaged women transition into the workplace successfully. Their mission is to promote economic independence by providing the trifecta of professional attire, a support network, and career development tools. Ultimately, their goal is to help people thrive not just in work, but in life as well — we can get behind that.

How it Works

What’s the journey of a client coming to Dress for Success? First, they’re assisted by a volunteer personal shopper trained to help them select business appropriate attire. Each client receives a complete outfit {including accessories, a purse, and shoes} and is invited to return for a second shopping trip once employed. Dress for Success also knows that becoming a #girlboss is about so much more than looking the part. With that in mind, they also provide clients with ongoing career development opportunities and workshops on resume writing, interviewing, and resources to help in securing and retaining a job.
