All About the Artist: Simone Bailey Campbell, a Jamaican-born artist, designer, and entrepreneur based in Montclair, New Jersey, draws inspiration from her vibrant Caribbean upbringing, urban experiences, and love for fashion. While formally trained in interior and furniture design, her recent focus on painting and drawing provides a fluid and intuitive outlet for expression, guiding her through challenges and inspiring her to uplift others with her artwork. With a diverse range of mediums including acrylics, ink, wood, found objects, and sculptural beeswax candles, Simone’s artistic pursuits extend to mural creation, where she collaborates with communities to amplify shared ideas.
