Crumbl Cookies Hosting Grand Opening in Downtown Jersey City on 2/28
A nationally-known cookie brand with 1000+ locations in the United States and beyond is coming to downtown Jersey City soon. Crumbl Cookies, which serves up delectable gourmet cookies in a variety of flavors, will make its debut at 318 Grove Street in Jersey City's historic downtown area next to Shake Shack. We first reported on the news in July 2024, and as of February 2025, signage was up in the space. Now, we know that Crumbl will host its grand opening on Friday, February 28th, 2025. What We Know
Not much was known about Crumbl Cookies' expansion to Hudson County when we first reported on it in July 2024, but what did know is that the new location would be situated next to Shake Shack on Grove Street in Jersey City. Per an Instagram post from local non-profit the Historic Downtown Jersey City Special Improvement District (also known as HDSID) earlier this month, Crumbl will make its debut at 306 Grove Street.

The post also revealed that signage has been put up in the forthcoming Crumbl space, including store hours. The Jersey City outpost will be open from 8AM-10PM Monday through Thursday, and Friday + Saturday from 8AM-12AM. The delivery hours are the same. See the full post below.

Now, we know that Crumbl will officially open in downtown Jersey City next week. HDSID announced the news on Instagram on February 19th, saying Crumbl will host its grand opening on Friday, February 28th. See the full post below.

A QR code on the door took you to a job application for the upcoming location — the cookie spot was hiring bakers, drivers, and managers this summer.

The New Jersey locations include Brick, Bridgewater, Cherry Hill, Clark, Hamilton Township, Holmdel, Manalapan, Mays Landing, Millville, Montvale, Morris Plains, Mt. Laurel, North Brunswick, Ocean, Paramus, Princeton, Rockaway, Turnersville, Union, and Wayne. This will be Crumbl's first Hudson County store — the closest locations to our area right now are in New York City, Staten Island, and Union.
While Crumbl recently introduced new menu items including cookie dough bites and cake cups, it is best known for its freshly-baked gourmet cookies, with flavors rotating weekly. The store has a lineup of six different cookies each week — right now, the options include tres leches cake, chocolate peanut butter pie, key lime pie cookie, semi-sweet chocolate chunk, chocolate cake batter, wafer featuring Kit Kat®, iced oatmeal, and cookie dough bites.

While we await the opening of Crumbl Cookies on Grove Street, there are a few other spots in Jersey City to get your cookie fix. Bang Cookies at 128 Newark Avenue serves up organic and all-natural oversized cookies. Some other JC spots serving up cookies that are worth a try include Cocoa Bakery, Dulce de Luche Bakery, and Milk Sugar Love, among others.
