Jersey City students in grades six to eight can enter Jersey City Free Public Library’s Black History Month Essay Contest, which will be accepted until February 28th. The prompt is “Martin Luther King Jr.’s ‘I Had a Dream’ speech is his most notable speech; what is your dream for the world?”

Get your TVs and hors d'oeuvres ready, because Super Bowl LIX is right around the corner. On Sunday, February 9th, the two-time consecutive champs the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans, Louisiana starting at 6:30PM ET. This year, the Super Bowl has some local ties, as a few Hudson County businesses are involved. Attain Medspa will treat the VIP NFL players and their families, while bwè kafe and For Cup Sakes will contribute some delicious foodie items. Hoboken's Attain Medspa and owner Lauren Ben-Meir will provide skincare essentials for select NFL players and their families for Super Bowl LIX. The medspa announced the news via an email to customers on Wednesday, January 29th:
"Honored to treat the Super Bowl's VIP NFL team players and their families to the same level of care we bring you!"

To celebrate Attain's presence at the Super Bowl, the medspa is having a sale on services. Botox, filler, hydrafacials, laser hair removal, laser genesis treatments, microneedling, dermaplanning, IVs, and NAD+ therapy are all discounted through Monday, February 10th, and are available to redeem starting Saturday, February 15th. Hoboken and Jersey City coffee staple bwè kafe has brought its mobile espresso team to Super Bowl LIX. The bwè kafe team shared with The Hoboken Girl this week that the team headed to New Orleans on Wednesday, February 5th, and will serve cold brew and other espresso drinks at "The Block" with iHeartMedia, and at the athlete VIP parties. "The Block" is a 25,000-square-foot hospitality destination, spanning four interconnected mansions in downtown New Orleans leading up to the Super Bowl.
bwè's mobile espresso team launched in 2017 and has since become a staple for weddings, private parties, and large productions such as the Z100 Jingle Ball, iHeartPodcast activations in Los Angeles, the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas, and the Cannes Lions Festival in Cannes.
