The Polar Lounge pop-up will debut at Harriet's Rooftop Bar. Guests and their pups can experience the skyline views, ice bar cocktails, and custom frozen art. The pop-up will be around through February, but book a luxury dog-friendly room at the hotel anytime here.

The Arnold House | 839 Shandelee Road, Livingston Manor, New York
Located in the forests of Shandelee Mountain, this Catskills spot is the ideal country getaway. It's set on 80 acres of land and has sixteen guest rooms, a complimentary breakfast, a daily snack bar, a Tavern + Bar, pool access, a Barn + Greenhouse that features gardens, daily cookie service, and more. With a fee of $75, visitors can bring their pups along with them, as well as receive a dog bed, food bowls, and treats.
AutoCamp Catskills | 882 NY-212, Saugerties, New York
Hoboken and Jersey City dog lovers who are into glamping can check out AutoCamp, which has six locations in the United States, with the Catskills location being the closest. With the motto "no dog left behind," this spot has all kinds of amenities that pups will love. The Kaaterskill Falls and Saugerties Lighthouse Nature Trail are both hiking spots that make for a great outdoor adventure with four-legged friends. Stella’s Station and The Garden Cafe Woodstock, which serves organic vegan food, are local food spots where pets are welcomed. AutoCamp also has towels, dog bowls, and treats for its guests and their pets.
Blue Fox Motel | 5670 NY-97, Narrowsburg, New York
The Blue Fox Motel in Narrowsburg is known for its dog-friendly premises, which are small self-standing cottages near the center of the property. In the summer, there's a pool and trails to walk. In the winter, it's worth snuggling up with your pup in the mountains, after a nice walk around the downtown of Narrowsburg — which takes its name from the small, narrow rock canyon easily seen from the bridge. The canyon, only 200 feet wide, is the narrowest point of the entire Delaware River main stem.
The DeBruce | 982 Debruce Road, Livingston Manor, New York
The nature-filled experience is located in the Livingston Manor section of the Catskills. Overlooking Willowemoc Creek and the mountains, the 12-room hotel sits on hundreds of acres of private land and boasts an award-winning restaurant with James Beard-nominated chefs, a Club Room bar, and a private pool, among other things. The DeBruce also "[loves] well-behaved dogs and dogs love running through [its] trails and meadows," as per its website. The hotel provides a dog bed, food bowls, and treats. Guests can expect an additional nightly fee to cover the costs of cleaning.
Eastwind Hotel | 5088 NY-23, Windham, New York
East Windham has motel-style rooms, in-hotel (main house) rooms, and triangular-shaped huts called ‘Lushnas.' There’s also an outdoor sauna and walking path on the property, with tons of hiking trails near the property. Dogs are allowed at this hotel. Guests are charged $50 per day per pet.
Emerson Resort + Spa | 5340 NY-28, Mount Tremper, New York
This resort and spa has something for everyone in a group, including your pet. Several rooms in the Inn and Spa have been designated as pet-friendly so make sure to specify when booking. Share a snowy hiking adventure with the pup, including Mount Tremper Trail, or head to the spa for some alone time and a CBD massage. Book a ‘pupgrade’ for dogs to enjoy upon check-in. They will receive a double-sided dog bowl, woof placemat, Emerson ball, dog biscuits, and Emerson Bandana for off-leash excitement. Head to the Catamount Dog Park to watch dogs play in the snow. Diners can also bring their dogs to Woodnotes Grille at the lodge which has a doggy menu with grass-fed burgers and more.
Highland House | 131 Broadway, Cape May, New Jersey
Cape May City's beaches are pet-friendly only from November to March, which makes it an ideal winter destination. Highland House is a dog-friendly Bed and Breakfast with a fenced-in yard for a pup to enjoy. There is plenty to do with nearby antique fairs, flea markets, The Cape May Bird Observatory, nature trails, and the Lighthouse and Sunset Beach. Hotel Fauchere | 401 Broad Street, Milford, Pennsylvania
Located in the Poconos Mountains, pets will enjoy this winter escape just as much as humans. This hotel has a welcoming front porch that dogs love — and in the winter, you can even dine inside the garden igloos. Take your pup for a hike up the Milford Knob Trail for views of the entire charming town. Nearby Log Tavern Brewing has an outdoor beer garden where pups are welcome.
INNESS | 10 Banks Street, Accord, New York
INNESS, located between the Catskill and Shawangunk mountains, provides a hotel, restaurant, member’s club, golf, and more to its guests. Luscious land is abundant at this property, so be sure to pack your hiking boots and winter coat. For $100 per pet, visitors are allowed to bring a maximum of two dogs with them, which is great for those who are dog moms to more than one pup.
Kenoza Hall | 5762 NY-52, Kenoza Lake, New York
Kenoza Hall is a 55-acre property in Kenoza Lake that was originally used as a summer retreat destination in the early 1900s. Today, the hotel has 22 guest rooms, 10 bungalows, an on-site restaurant with indoor + outdoor lake-view seating, a full-service spa, a pool, a hot tub, and so much more. As if this spot couldn't get any better, it is also dog-friendly. Furry friends who come with their owners will receive a dog bed, food bowls, and treats. There will be an additional nightly fee to cover the costs of cleaning and visitors should notify the hotel at the time of booking if they are bringing their pet.
Long Neck Inn | 30 Cutter Mill Road, Great Neck, New York
Long Neck Inn is a boutique hotel and inn located in the Catskill Mountains. Its location is where a now abandoned zoo was once was, it has five guest rooms named for animals who were once housed on the property as well as for campsites. The Elephant, Giraffe, and Menagerie rooms are pet-friendly.
Scribner's Catskill Lodge | 13 Scribner Hollow Road, Hunter, New York
If looking for a modern vibe kind of getaway, Scribners features guest rooms and suites with a contemporary lodge feel. Scribner’s also welcomes well-behaved dogs into its Pupstater Program for a $100 non-refundable fee for up to two dogs. All “Pupstaters” will receive toys and treats to take home as well as bowls to use while visiting Scribner’s.
Tiny House Resort | 2776 County Road 23B, South Cairo, New York
Another Catskills retreat, this picture-perfect row of cute cabins is located in South Cairo, NY. Tiny House Resort has The Green Bean cabin, a quaint little dog-friendly escape with tranquil views, a hot tub, and even a private entrance to the dog park. The cabin is also steps away from a waterfall and private fire pits.
The Stickett Inn | 3380 NY-97, Barryville, New York
The Catskills are always a fun getaway choice, but The Stickett Inn, located in Barryville, has a lot more than cheeky puns this winter season. Located on the Delaware River, this property sits in the center of a small town with bars, a nearby brewery, and shops. The Inn has multiple pet-friendly suites, is very LGBTQ-friendly, and features a cider tasting room and taqueria. Check out the Barryville General Store for locally grown treats. The Hickok Brook Multiple Use Area is nearby, which is a 1,000-acre park with many trails — a departure from your pup’s daily trip to the dog park.
Urban Cowboy Lodge | 37 Alpine Road, Big Indian, New York
Pets are welcomed at Urban Cowboy Lodge by request only. The place advises guests to email before making a booking. There is a daily pet fee of $50 per day for each pet that will be coming to the resort. The only room that pets are welcome in is the Walden Forest Bathing Suites with Den — but if you can make it happen, it's an idyllic setting.
Winvian Farm | 155 Alain White Road, Morris, Connecticut
This luxury Connecticut getaway is perfect for dog lovers who appreciate New England's charm. Multiple cottages are dog-friendly, be sure to specify when making a reservation. The private Greenhouse Cottage is one example — it has a wood-burning fireplace, a jetted tub, and a glass-canopied living room. Winivan also provides farm-to-table dining, spirit tastings, bonfires, and painting and yoga events. The expansive property will be fun for any pup to explore as well: there are two ponds on site and endless smells.

Built in 1962 as a “modern escape” for visitors, The Woodhouse Lodge is a 10-room hotel, restaurant, and bar in Greenville, New York. Visitors can relax beside a fire pit, outside on the property, or head out on a nearby adventure. Well-behaved dogs are allowed, with a $50 fee per dog.
