With this awkward hump day holiday week, it feels like a Monday buuut it’s actually a Thursday. Believe it or not, there are a TON of things going on Thursday through Sunday in Hudson County. Tiki Thursdays at City Bistro  – Thursday, July 5th from 4:00PM to Close

Every Thursday from 4:00PM to close, City Bistro has Tiki drinks at $7 each {complete with Hawaiian-inspired food and decor}. Each week more specialty cocktails will be added, so be sure to make it a weekly event.

Sail from Liberty State Park in Jersey City – Thursday, July 5th at 10:00 AM

Hosted by AJ Meerwald and Bayshore Center at Bivalve, this event is open to the public and will allow guests to set sail form the Liberty State park right in JC. You can purchase tickets here to be included on all the fun.

Want to get some volunteering experience? Hoboken Grace has spots open for anyone to come and help at this local shelter meet at the shelter at 6PM — 300 Bloomfield Street.

Famous Food Market in Jersey City – Saturday, July 7th at 11:00AM

This free family event is happening on Saturday {and every Saturday thereafter}. Food vendors will be serving dishes from all over the world, local craft vendors will be present, and a beautiful beer and wine garden {complete with some a spectacular view of the NYC skyline}.

July Yappy Hour at The Ale House {1034 Willow Avenue, Hoboken}

Attention: Dog-friendly event! At the Ale House this Friday evening from 7:00PM-9:00PM, you will find a party of dogs + their owners {mostly focusing on the dogs}. $5 wristbands will access you to drink specials the whole time and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Liberty Humane Society.

SIPPs at Artist + Maker Market Feel Good Fridays at Grove PATH Plaza {319 Grove Street, Jersey City}

The first Friday of the month, HDSID hosts its Artist + Maker Market and Feel Good Fridays outside the Grove Street PATH Plaza. Art, design, vintage vendors, a live DJ, and food + drinks are going to be available from 3:00PM-10:00PM. A chill + fun way to start off the weekend.

UFC 226 The Superfight at Villa Borghese III in Jersey City – Saturday, July 7th from 8:00AM – 1:00AM

Find out this Saturday who will be the ultimate winner. At Villa Borghese, admission is free until 10:00PM, so make sure to head over beforehand then so you can avoid the cover charge.

Multicultural Day at Marketplace JC in Jersey City – Saturday, July 7th from 12:00PM – 5:00PM

Multicultural Day at this spot will have vendors selling everything from food to items from cultures all over the world. Located at 136 Magnolia in JC.

Free Yoga in Lincoln Park in Jersey City – Sunday, July 8th from 11:30AM – 12:45PM

Free yoga? Don’t mind if we do. It’s not always that you come across a yoga class that costs absolutely nothing. Take advantage of this outdoor experience in the park and find some inner zen {a perfect way to end the weekend}.

5th Annual It’s All Love BBQ 2018 at Caven Point in Jersey City – Sunday, July 8th from 12:00PM – 9:00PM

All proceeds for this events will go to America Needs You – NJ. Last year the events raised just about over $2,000 and the donation alone was enough to sponsor one first-generation college student to the America Needs You Mentorship Program. Buy tickets here to support to cause this year.

Painting on the Pier at Pier 13 — Sunday, July 8th from 11:45AM – 2:45PM

Pier 13’s Painting on the Pier is back from 11:45AM-2:45PM on Sunday. If doing some artsy crafts while enjoying the skyline view of NYC is your thing, purchase tickets here.

Torico’s 50th Anniversary Celebration — Sunday, July 8th from 12:00PM – 4:00PM

Spikological Warfare at Pier A Hoboken – Sunday, July 8th at 2:00PM

Summer games will spike up the fun. Bring your crew to battle it off at the Pier with a game of spike ball on a hot summer day.

Art, Culture and Music Night at Issyra Gallery in Hoboken – Sunday, July 8th at 11:45 PM
