    Sinatra Idol Contest 2018 at Sinatra Park in Hoboken — Thursday, June 14th at 6:00PM

    Watch contestants from all over the country compete to win the 12th annual Sinatra Idol contest at Sinatra Park in Hoboken {525 Sinatra Drive}.

    SinglesInJC Bootcamp Mixer at Base Fitness with ChicpeaJC — Thursday, June 14th at 7:00PM

    Enjoy a boot camp class with fellow singles at Base Fitness in Jersey City {60 Columbus Drive}, followed by an after-party at Atlas Public House {130 Newark Avenue}. More info here.

    Garden Street School of Performing Arts Presents Seussical the Musical — Friday, June 15th at 7:00PM {through Sunday}

    The Garden Street School of Performing Arts will be performing Seussical the Musical this weekend at the Hudson School Theater in Hoboken. Opening night is Friday, and there are also show times on Saturday {11:00AM + 3:00PM} and Sunday {2:00PM}. Dad’s tickets are free on Father’s Day.     Jersey City Theater Center Presents The BOX Friday, June 15th at 7:00PM

    The Jersey City Theater Center {339 Newark Avenue in Jersey City} is hosting an evening of music, spoken-word, poetry, dance, and other performances this Friday.

    The Friday Wine Down – Juneteenth Edition — Friday, June 15th from 7:00PM-12:00PM

    The ladies of Regular Women’s Network is hosting a Friday Wine Down with a live DJ, drink specials, karaoke, and a comedic performance. More info here.

    Sweetberry Bowls’ Grand Opening in Jersey City — Saturday, June 16th at 8:00AM

    Sweetberry Bowls is officially open at 179 Newark Avenue in Jersey City and they are celebrating their grand opening this Saturday. The first 50 customers get a free bowl.

    Daddy + Daughter Tea Party at Sugarsuckle Baking Studio in Hoboken — Saturday, June 16th from 10:00AM-12:00PM

    Sugarsuckle Baking Studio in Hoboken is hosting a tea party for fathers + daughters that includes mixing and baking cookies, a craft, snacks, tea, and storytime. Registration is required.

    Hoboken Green Team’s Green Fair at Church Square Park in Hoboken — Saturday, June 16th 11:00AM-3:00PM

    Hoboken Green Team’s 7th annual Green Fair will be held at Church Square Park this Saturday and will feature over 30 eco-friendly vendors as well as live music. Mayor Bhalla will also be recognizing 20 businesses as Hoboken Green Businesses at 1:00PM at the gazebo in the park.

    Family Fun Day at Liberty State Park — Saturday, June 16th from 11:00AM-3:00PM

    Family Fun Day is a free event with activities for children of all ages, with a focus on families that have children with special needs. Complimentary lunch will be provided to all guests, while supplies lasts. More info here.

    Famous Food Market in Jersey City — Saturday, June 16th from 11:00AM-7:30PM

    The Famous Food Market is a free festival features over 30 food vendors serving dishes from all over the world as well as local craft vendors, a farm-to-table stand, a beer and wine garden, and of course, skyline views. The event will take place at Harborside in Jersey City {3 2nd Street}. More info here.

    Jersey City’s Charity Basketball Game at the Boys & Girls Club — Saturday, June 16th from 3:30PM-7:00PM

    The B ALL IN Foundation is hosting a charity basketball game at the Boys & Girls Club {225 Morris Boulevard in Jersey City} to support youth education in a fun environment. More info here.

    Soul Language Release Party and Artist Showcase — Saturday, June 16th from 6:00PM-10:00PM

    Soul Language is hosting a release party and artist showcase at 17 Pollock Avenue that will feature musical and spoken-word performances, vendors, and networking opportunities. More info here.

    LGBTQ Royal Youth Prom in Jersey City — Saturday, June 16th from 6:00PM-10:00PM

    The Hudson Pride Center will have their LGBTQ youth prom this Saturday which includes a sit-down dinner, photo booth, DJ, dance-off competitions, and more.     David Cowell Author Event at Little City Books — Sunday, June 17th at 11:00AM

    Author and illustrator David Cowell will be at Little City Books this Sunday to present his new book, Run Wild. 

    172nd Anniversary of Baseball at Stevens in Hoboken — Sunday, June 17th at 1:00PM

    The 1859 Hoboken Baseball Club will celebrate the 172nd Anniversary of the first game played on Elysian Fields by playing a match of baseball using 19th-century rules {replica bats + balls and no gloves}. The Hoboken vs Bloomfield Buzzards game will start at 1:00PM at Dobbelaar Field {8th and Castle Point – Stevens Institute of Technology}. More info here.
