To celebrate, we’re sharing a full list of events this weekend in Hoboken + Jersey City— from the McGregor Fight to yoga classes, art shows, and everything in between, there’s something for everyone to do during the next few days off. If you’re looking for somewhere to watch the fight this Saturday, the Harborside Atrium will accommodate you and your crew. Help Hoboken Girl Collect Supplies for Women Rising —Now through Tuesday, October 16th

Hoboken Girl is running a drive to collect tampons, pads, diapers, and wipes for local shelter, Women Rising. Drop-off locations include: European Wax Center, Massage Envy, Amazing Lash, Athleta, Jojo Maman Bébé, Hudson Yoga Project, and Boutique Realty — all in Hoboken. You can drop off during normal business hours and any of the locations.

Weekend Events

Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at Hoboken’s Mile Square Theatre — running through October 7th

Mile Square Theatre continues its 2018 season with Christopher Durang’s hilarious comedy about love, life and family, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. Durang drops a mixed bag of Chekhovian characters in contemporary Bucks County in this comic tour-de-force. Relentlessly silly and smart, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike deservedly won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play. Recommended for ages 13 and up. CarePoint Health’s 5th Annual Mammogram-A-Thon — Thursday, October 4th starting at 8:00AM

CarePoint Health is offering mammograms and other opportunities for women 40+ including free breast screenings, educational materials, Q+A sessions, and more. If you can’t make it this Thursday, CarePoint is hosting the same event on Saturday, October 20th as well. To register, call 201-884-5329.

Boutique Realty Art Showcase — Friday, October 5th from 4:00PM-9:00PM

Artist Ling Chen will be at Boutique Realty’s Jersey City location {215 Newark Avenue} showcasing his latest art. The event is open to the public and guests can enjoy wine and cheese while browsing the art as part of JCAST.

Jersey City Art & Studio Tour Showcase at Choc O Pain — Friday, October 5th from 6:00PM-9:00PM

Not many can successfully mix folk sounds with rhythm and blues vibes, but this guy somehow pulls it off. Back by popular demand is the AngelaCARES’ Chicken & Waffle Fundraiser. AngelaCARES provides the community with various programs supporting Alzheimer’s patients, caregivers, youth opportunities and more. This fundraiser will support their efforts of moving into a larger space to better serve the community. Chicken and waffles will be served from 10:00AM-6:00PM and tickets can be purchased here. Photowalk in Hoboken + Jersey City — Saturday, October 6th from 8:00AM-11:00AM

Photowalks will be happening all over the country this Saturday, including in Hoboken and Jersey City. Hoboken resident and local photographer, Marta Perales, is hosting this free event where attendees can get a number of different pictures taken during the walk.
