Get to know Dwight-Englewood School in your own backyard. Join the school for cocktails, cheese, and conversation at their annual event designed for prospective families in the greater Hoboken area looking to learn more about the D-E curriculum and culture.

Liberty Harbor Residences and Marketplace JC will fill the streets with local vendors {including food trucks} this Saturday for their 3rd annual block party. Also enjoy backyard games, live music, face painting, crafts, and a bouncy house for the children. The event is free and open to the public and will take place at 333 Grand Street in Jersey City. Help Hoboken Girl Collect Supplies for Women Rising —Now through Tuesday, October 16th

Hoboken Girl is running a drive to collect tampons, pads, diapers, and wipes for local shelter, Women Rising. Drop-off locations include: European Wax Center, Massage Envy, Amazing Lash, Athleta, Jojo Maman Bébé, Hudson Yoga Project, and Boutique Realty — all in Hoboken.

Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at Hoboken’s Mile Square Theatre — running through October 7th

Mile Square Theatre continues its 2018 season with Christopher Durang’s hilarious comedy about love, life and family, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. Durang drops a mixed bag of Chekhovian characters in contemporary Bucks County in this comic tour-de-force. Relentlessly silly and smart, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike deservedly won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play. Recommended for ages 13 and up. Manhattan Short Viewing at The Hoboken Public Library — Thursday, September 27th at 6:30PM

Watch films that are part of the 21st annual Manhattan Short Film Festival and vote for your favorites. The event free and open those age 18 and older. More info here.

Call Me Old Fashioned at the W Hotel — Thursday, September 27th from 5:30PM-8:30PM

Anthony David’s 20th Anniversary Brunch Block Party  — Saturday, September 29th from 10:00AM-3:00PM

Celebrate one of Hoboken’s most beloved restaurants, Anthony David’s, 20th anniversary. For the day, Anthony David’s outdoor seating will be spread out into the street and Chef Pino will be preparing a delicious Blue Plate Special from their very first year of business. There will also be a sangria bar, live music, and fun activities for both adults and children. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Hudson CASA.
