    Happy {almost} weekend, Hudson County! We’re ringing in Mother’s Day weekend with a slew of events in Hoboken and Jersey City for everyone to enjoy. From dance parties to outdoor yoga to concerts, runs, and more, here are 16 events happening in Hoboken and Jersey City this weekend {May 10th-13th 2018}:

    Flatbread Grill Jersey City Grand Opening — Thursday, May 10th at 11:00AM

    Flatbread Grill will be celebrating the opening of their new Jersey City location {26 Journal Square} this Thursday at 11:00AM.     Latin Wine & Food Night at Hoboken Elks Lodge — Thursday, May 10th from 7:00PM-11:00PM

    Enjoy over an open bar featuring over 150 wines and craft beer, along with hors-d’oeuvres from La Isla Restaurant at the Hoboken Elks Lodge {1005 Washington Street} this Friday night. Tickets are $75 and all proceeds will benefit High Tech High School in North Bergen. This is a 21+ event.

    Stella Grizont & Hoboken Lean In Circle — Thursday, May 10th from 7:00PM-8:30PM

    At this workshop with Stella Grizont {psychology expert and executive coach}, you’ll learn how to get the pay you deserve and how to gain the confidence to do so. The event is free but you can register here.

    Hoboken Shelter ‘80s Dance Party — Friday, May 11th from 7:00PM-11:00PM

    The Hoboken Elks Lodge is hosting an ‘80s dance party to benefit the Hoboken Homeless Shelter. Your ticket includes drinks, soda, and snacks while you enjoy a night of dancing. All proceeds go to the shelter to help shelter 50 people nightly, feed 530 people daily, and host over 1,000 showers weekly. Purchase tickets here.

    Decline and Fall Presented by Jersey City Theater Center — Friday, May 11th at 8:00PM and Saturday, May 12th at 3:00PM and 8:00PM

    20th Annual HOHA 5 Mile Classic — Sunday, May 13th at 9:00AM

    Hoboken’s longest running road race, the HOHA Classic 5 Miler, is back for its 20th year on Mother’s Day. Proceeds from the event will go to benefit Hoboken’s Jubilee Center, a place that helps children to overcome barriers and gives them a fair chance at creating a fulfilling life based on self-esteem, self-reliance, personal accountability and respect for others.     Pamela Ross and Friends Present “Helping Hands!” Concert — Sunday, May 13th at 3:00PM

    Renowned concert pianist Pamela Ross, along with violinist Kobi Malkin and cellist Grace Ho, is hosting a free concert at The Hudson School of Music in Hoboken this Sunday. Performances will include pieces by Beethoven, Brahms, Mendelssohn, and others. All donations will benefit the Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

    Mother’s Day Celebration with JCFamilies Friday, May 11th 4:00PM-7:00PM

    JCFamilies is celebrating Mother’s Day on Friday at Hamilton Park in Jersey City with an entire evening of celebrations for mom and the whole family. Moms can enjoy free shoulder massages, henna tattoos, and pictures. The event is kid and family friendly as there will be various types of entertainment throughout the night.
