So, what exactly do you get the man who has it all?

If you find yourself asking this same question every June, then we’ve got some answers for you. There’s always room in dad’s man cave for something he’s going to love and we’ve put together the ultimate local gift guide for the dads in your life this Father’s Day. Here are a few gift ideas to get the wheels turning — since Father’s Day is, ahem, coming up this weekend!

City Workshop Co – Awesome Threads {West Orange, NJ + Online}

Tsujita

Grab your favorite dad an uber-comfy pullover to wear on the cooler summer nights either on the pier or at the Jersey Shore. Inspired by the history of its hometown of West Orange, City Workshop is a local shop that was created to be a “cool place where men could feel comfortable purchasing the highest quality products.” The owners are also formerly JC natives, so you’re doing your part shopping ‘locally’ while buying dad something he’ll enjoy. Check out their site and pull a dad move by being thrifty with Hoboken15 for 15% off your first purchase!

Hobbs Inc

SZNS Wallets {Hoboken, NJ}

Almost all dads need a new wallet because they’ve been carrying around that same one {with your photo in it of course} they bought ten years ago {bonus points if he has a rubber band wrapped around it}. SZNS is a new startup from a Stevens Institute of Technology student {yayyy Hoboken!}. The wallets were created to be slim and minimalistic, but carry eight or more cards + cash. It has built-in RFID blocking and a pull tab for your most used cards. For HobokenGirl.com readers, use the code “HobokenGirl” at checkout to save yourself 30%.

Hudson Paperie — Assorted Dad Stuff That Is Suuuper Cute {Hoboken, NJ}

AXIS School of Dance

Hudson Paperie on Washington Street has a huge display of thoughtful {and adorable} Father’s Day gifts. Some of our favorites are this ultimate dad-joke mug {pictured above} for his morning coffee as well as the toiletry pouches with phrases like “Beast” and “Trophy Husband” on them. For Hoboken Girl readers, save $5 off your retail purchase of $50 or more by mentioning us.

The Roost Outpost – Coffee + Accessories

If your father is a coffee connoisseur and simply can not live without his morning dose of life — errr, caffeine, get him a gift card to The Roost. This local coffee shop on 1st Street between Washington and Hudson also houses unique clothing and leather chotchkes, perfect for any fun-loving guy who wants to spruce up his wardrobe or coffee table, literally.

ThreadLab Men’s Co. — Stylist and Clothing Subscription Based in JC

Is your father or husband due for a little wardrobe updating? Then you should definitely check out ThreadLab to get him a curated outfit from their stylists that fits around your budget. If he has trouble throwing out some of his old faves {we’re looking at you, pleated pants}, then fill his closet with some new items he’ll love, since they were chosen specifically for him by local stylists. This company was founded in Jersey City and ships worldwide.

Spesh Hair – Fresh-to-Death Buzz/Trim/You Name It

Offer your father/hubs a fresh haircut and beard trim {if he sports one} at Hoboken’s newest spot, Spesh. This uptown Washington spot was recently opened by Steven Torres, who has a devoted clientele from his work in Hoboken and decided to take it to the next level by opening his own business. Their yelp reviews speak for themselves.

Oran Boutique – Men’s Upscale Clothing

For those dapper dads/hubs out there, stop by Oran Boutique for some upscale threads. Located at 1026 Washington St., Oran is a family-run boutique that sells exquisitely crafted menswear from Italy. You better have dinner reservations after his trip here, because he’ll definitely want to show off his new duds. PS: Make sure to vote for our Cutest Hoboken Dad Contest which ends on Wednesday; the winner receives $250 from Oran for a Father’s Day shopping spree!

Washington General Store — For the Grill

If your hubs/dad wears many hats and one of them includes a chef’s hat, then Washington General is the place you probably should stop by to scope out the gift scene. This upscale home decor and gift shop houses a variety of things that any type of dad will love — but our favorite finds definitely revolve around the grillmaster situation {above}.

Van Der Hagen Shave Set

Via

This Van De Hagen Shave Set is fit for a king. It takes beard and mustache grooming to whole new level, as it includes a badger shaving brush, shave soap, and ceramic apothecary shaving mug and acrylic stand {pro tip: the brush and shave soap combo is super soft on the skin!}.

Enjoy your day with Dad this Sunday, and we expect to see your pics of him wearing his “Daddy of the Patio” apron or sporting his new sleek hair do! Tag us on Insta @HobokenGirlBlog or #HobokenGirl!
