It’s Galentine’s Day — a day to celebrate friendship with the ladies in your life. This year, we’ve decided to shine some light on some of our favorite local boss babes who inspire us and who we admire on the reg. Check them out for yourself below and be sure to celebrate all the inspirational women you know {including yourself} this Galentine’s Day because, girl power.

Here they are, in no particular order:

Snap Fitness JC

Danielle Mullins {of Muneca Mullins}

danielle muneca mullins

Harborside Sport + Spine

Vintage stylist Danielle Mullins is a jack of all trades. From creating her own vintage clothing store to her very own studio, this girl is the definition of #bosslady {and can be also found hanging at Antique Bar and Bakery}. A born and raised Hoboken girl, she’s the definition of hustle.

Hobbs Inc

Hannah + Ariel {of Happy Box Store}

hannah ariel happy box store

Hannah and Ariel, founders of Happy Box Store, have changed the gift-giving game with their gift boxes that customers can design for any occasion and ship out to anywhere in the U.S. {for free} to someone special.

Danielle + Jacey {of Jane Do}

Not only do we love Jane Do‘s workout classes, but we totally girl crush on the ladies behind the brand. Danielle + Jacey, two former Radio City Rockettes-turned-JC residents, have created a space {three to be exact — Jersey City, Edgewater + now Hoboken} for women to work out and feel good about it.

Jordan + Joelle {of Hoboken Girl + Double Dose}

Hoboken Girl is lucky enough to have these two awesome gals on our team. Jordan and Joelle pretty much do it all — from writing for HG to hosting a radio show, to writing a children’s book — these local babes are ones to follow.

Danielle Tullo {of Cosmopolitan Magazine}

If there’s an insta account you should envy, it’s Danielle Tullo’s. As the snapchat editor for Cosmopolitan magazine and local resident, she lives a pretty sweet life {no pun intended}. She also just threw the *cutest* Galentine’s party that we are currently obsessing over. Check out her Instagram and all the Galentine’s Day fun here.

Kathleen Heaney Schumann {Z100’s Web Girl Kathleen}

web girl kathleen

You might have heard her voice on Z100 or tuned in to her very own podcast {Acquired Taste}, but what you might not know about Web Girl Kathleen is that she is a Hoboken resident just like us. And a cool one at that.

Asha Surti {of Reiki Traveler}

asha surti reiki traveler

Having taken her reiki practice in Hoboken full time just a few months ago, Asha is taking the wellness world by storm {or should we say by calm}. She’s caring, kind, supportive, amazing at her energy healing, and will have your chakras in check in no time.

Lynn Hazan {of Chicpea JC}

If you live in the Jersey City area, chances are, you know Chicpea JC. Lynn, the face behind this Jersey City blog and events co, knows a ton when it comes to what to do, where to eat, and where to drink in JC.

Michelle Berckes {of Busy Bee Organics}

Busy Bee Organics is a Hoboken Girl fave when it comes to healthy eating. We love their convenient, healthy delivery service — the food is real, healthy, yet delicious thanks to founder Michelle Berckes. Michelle, a Jersey City resident, holds a Master’s degree in Nutritional Healing from Montclair State, and is a whiz and cooking up meals that feel like a “cheat” when they’re actually organic and good for you. Plus, she’s awesome.\

Danielle Guenther {of Danielle Guenther Photography}

Known for her scenes of parenting IRL {they’re hilarious, so check out her Instagram here}, Danielle has been photographing families in Hoboken for several years, and #killingit. Her series “What the Bump?”, “Best Case Scenario”, and “What Women Want” have been featured internationally, but you can often find her on the streets of Hoboken and NYC behind the lens.

Tina Rivera {of Baking Mama}

You haven’t really lived until you’ve had one of Baking Mama‘s macaroons/cookies/anything really. Tina Rivera {aka Baking Mama} is baking up a storm in her downtown Hoboken shop. She started the company when her son went to Stevens Tech in Hoboken, and hasn’t looked back since!

Ashley Marie Criso {of WiO + Bachata & Barbells}

ashley marie criso

If you’re a Work it Out regular, this fit babe has probably kicked your booty {or made you dance} in one of her classes. Body trainer + WiO instructor {and personal trainer @ Bachata & Barbells}, Ashley Marie Criso will be sure to inspire you to get strong, and she’s a total sweetheart.

Tara + Emily {More Please, M A M A}

tara emily more please mama

If you’re a mama, chances are you’ve gone to More Please M A M A for advice on all mama + baby-related things. Tara {who lives locally} and Emily {of California} are the bad a$$ mamas {and long-distance bffs} behind this brand.

Christine Gatto {of Salon Gatto}

christine gatto salon gatto

Christine started her salon, Salon Gatto, several years back, and has taking the Hoboken beauty scene head on {pun intended}. She was the winner of Hoboken Girl’s Best of 2017 for “Best Hair Salon” in Hoboken and has a fabulous team of stylists serving the Mile Square.

Kaley Skoglund {of SoulCycle}

From Corporate America to the stationary bike, Kaley brings her bada$$ery to SoulCycle in Hoboken + other locations around the tri-state, all while enjoying life as a Hudson County resident. If you’ve taken her class, you know that she spreads positivity + an attitude that will make your day {and get you through 45 minutes of SoulCycle}.
