Beach Signs at Pinot’s Palette: Friday, August 26th from 7:30PM-9:30PM
If you can’t make it to the beach this weekend, paint it! Visit Pinot’s Palette this Friday and paint the beautiful ‘Beach Signs’ painting you see above. They’ll supply the materials and instructions…you bring the wine. Located at 258 Newark St. Reserve your seats here.
Kaleidoscope Exhibit at hob’ art: Friday, August 26th-Sunday, August 28th
This is the LAST weekend to visit hob’ art’s ‘Kaleidoscope’ Exhibit in the Monroe Center. Including work by artists: Tom Egan, Starr Tucker-Ortega, Katie Duffy McGeehin, Rich Roberts, and Roy Wright. Hours for the exhibit are 1-5pm, Thursday-Sunday. Located at 720 Monroe Street.

Jersey City’s LGBT Pride Festival: Saturday, August 27th from 12:00PM-8:00PM
This Saturday, the LGBT Pride Festival will take place in Jersey City from 12:00PM-8:00PM. If you’re heading there from Hoboken, it’s steps away from the Grove Street PATH Station (plan accordingly, the PATH has closures on the weekends) or an easy Uber ride away. This festival will feature arts and entertainment events throughout Jersey City so don’t miss it. Located on Newark Avenue between Grove Street & Jersey Avenue.
JGFT’s Brunch n Booze: Saturday, August 27th from 2:00PM-5:30PM
Attention foodies: If you haven’t had the opportunity to take a Jersey Girls Food Tour, now’s your chance. This Saturday, they’ve partnered with The Beacon of Jersey City to offer a shuttled tour around JC that will include touring 5-6 restaurants in Hamilton park, Downtown JC and Liberty State Park.
