More about the Hoboken Shelter:
The Hoboken Shelter was founded in 1982 and strives to take a holistic approach to serve people in need. In addition to serving 530 meals daily, they shelter 50 people each night and provide support services like counseling, job and life skill training, creative arts workshops, and referrals to permanent housing or addiction treatment programs. Their mission s to be a community partnership that transforms lives by providing meals for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, and services to help people in need gain housing.
If you can’t make it on Friday, consider making a donation to support this incredible organization – a list of most-needed items can be found here. You can also learn more about their history, programming, and make a monetary donation, here.
