It’s time. We’re done with the mess of winter and we’re ready for a new fresh start. Our sleeves are rolled up, our hair is tied back, because Spring Cleaning — here we come. And we’re not just talking about our apartments and bedrooms, we’re talking about cleaning up the other place we live — our community! This year, we’re joining the City of Hoboken for its Spring Fling event, which is dedicated to cleaning up our parks and public spaces.

So, what will I be doing?
Projects may include removing debris from the park, roadway, school, planting or landscaping an area, or painting benches or other public amenities.
Where will I be working?
The City will assign people to various locations based on interest.
What should I bring/wear?
Wear old clothes because you’re probably going to get your hands dirty! Make sure to dress in layers for outside work and wear comfortable sneakers {no sandals or open-toed shoes}. If possible, bring gloves, water and snacks so you’re protected and fueled.
