Dorrian’s Red Hand, located at 555 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City, is hosting two comedy shows on Saturday, April 2nd at 7:00PM and 9:00PM. This weekend, The Laugh Tour is guest-hosted by comedian Ed McGowan and will feature West End Comedy Festival’s Will Purpura, The Onion’s Meredith Dietz, and Conor Janda from The Boy’s Club. Show tickets purchased online in advance of the show are $15 and are $20 the day of and at the door with a 2 item minimum per person. Additional shows with other comedians to take place all of April. The Liberty Humane Society is an open admission shelter contracted by Jersey City, Hoboken, and Bayonne to take in strays day or night, medically assess the animals, give them vaccinations and microchips, spay or neuter them, and gets them socially prepared for lifelong adoptions. True Mentors | Hoboken
True Mentors is Hoboken’s only one-to-one mentor program. The program matches children ages 7-17 with trained mentors. Volunteers are needed to serve as mentors and can sign up to be trained. Volunteers must be 18 years or older and must make at least a 1-year commitment to their mentee for a minimum of 8 hours per month. Learn more here.
