HDSID’s 12th Annual All About Downtown Street Fair is taking place this Saturday, September 9th from 12:00PM-8:00PM at the Newark Avenue Pedestrian Mall and Grove PATH Plaza between Grove Street and Coles Street in Jersey City. The fun-filled day will have over 300+ artist and artisan vendors, local shops, and restaurants participating — selling everything from handmade candles and jewelry to french pastries. Plus, there will be kids rides and face painting, beer gardens, and live music during the event.

The menu includes shrimp, lobster, King Crab legs, clams, and scallops steamed together in an Old Bay flavored seafood broth with chorizo, Yukon potatoes, corn on the cob, and red onions, as well as sides of mac n’ cheese, fried okra, creamy potato salad, deviled eggs, and more. Fall Screenings on the Green at W Hoboken

Starting next week, W Hoboken, located at 225 River Street in Hoboken, is hosting Screening on the Green every Thursday night throughout September and the first week of October. From 8:00PM-10:00PM, this ‘silent’ outdoor movie experience will feature some of the top movies of all time on the W Hoboken lawn including a special screening of Barbie on 9/28. Tickets are $25 and each guest will receive a headset, seating (you are also welcome to bring your own seating), and unlimited popcorn.
