Fall, we welcome you! Though it’s almost time for scarves and boots, the weather this week will be beautiful and accompanied by plenty of fun happy hours. From The Hoboken Comedy Festival to delicious wine tastings, here’s what’s in store for you with the best Hoboken and Jersey City happy hours of the week:

Monday- September 25th

Hoboken Oyster Social at Dozzino {Hoboken}

Be a part of the first ever Hoboken Oyster Social. Deemed as an official NYC Oyster Event, this night is happening at Dozzino {534 Adams St.} this Monday. The event will showcase some of New Jersey’s finest oysters and oyster growers, offering unlimited consumption of six NJ oyster varieties. Some highlights of the night include: artisanal pizza from Dozzino, and beer, wine, and spirits {all included in ticket price}. There will also be a film playing: The Oyster Farmers, a film about the NJ Oyster Revival. Tickets are limited, so get yours fast.

Don’t Hate The Players at Barcade {Jersey City}

At Barcade {163 Newark Ave.}, join Hoboken Grace for a night of retrogaming nostalgia. Shake up your normal after work routine and let loose while playing some arcade games, having a drink, and mingling with friends. All are welcome, but remember to bring cash to play.

Tuesday – September 26th

VPH Live With Thomas Vincent at Village Pourhouse {Hoboken}

Old World vs New World Wine Class at PS Wine Bar {Jersey City}

At PS Wine Bar {193 Newark Ave.}, contact your inner wine connoisseur for this Old World vs New World Wine Class. There will be four “old world” wines that will be paired against four “new world” wines, and of course, plenty of cheese. Tickets are $45 and selling fast, so be sure to get yours ASAP.

Wednesday – September 27th

Mixology of Love at Celebrate Life Studio {Hoboken}

Join Celebrate Life Studio on Wednesday from 7:30 – 9PM for this interactive event on the chemistry behind love and mixed drinks with Dr. Nataliya Rusetskaya {a certified Imago Couples Therapist and Sex Therapist} and Lia Giachino {Mixologist/Founder of Jersey Drinks}. You’ll be thrown right into the mix and learn why we fall in love, how to stay in love, and how to shake it up — including cocktails. More info and pricing here.

Decorative Shutters BYOB at DIY Uncorked {Hoboken}

At DIY Uncorked {49 Harrison St.}, guests can trade in their paintbrush for a nail gun and make an awesome project to bring home. Participants need to bring their own drink or snack, and DIY Uncorked will provide the rest. Register online here.

Garbaggio at Grove Film Festival at The Brightside Tavern {Jersey City}

At Brightside Tavern {141 Bright St.}, come support the Garbaggio Team for Screening Block 3A at Grove Film Festival. This is sure to be a moving event. Tickets can be purchased here.

Thursday – September 28th

Sips Under The Stars – California Wines at The Grand Vin {Hoboken}

This Thursday, join Grand Vin {500 Grand St.} for Sips Under The Stars. From 8PM – 10PM, enjoy a wine tasting of delicious California wines, Italian cuisine, and live music. Tickets will be available at the door, but you can get them now at a discount here.

Plant Night at John’s Pizza {Jersey City}

John’s Pizza {87 Sussex St.} is hosting a plant night, and this week, guests can build a table top terrarium. They encourage participants to “get dirty with friends, enjoy John’s Pizza, and drinks.” Sounds good to usTickets can be purchased here.

Friday – September 29th

Jon Laster, Pavich, Bonnema, Frigolette at Birch {Hoboken}

Birch is still adding to their awesome offerings. This Friday, come celebrate the Hoboken Comedy Festival at 92 River Street. Enjoy Jon Laster {Comicview}, Matt Pavich {MTV}, Leah Bonnema, MC Dan Frigolette {HBO’s Boardwalk Empire} + more. Tickets can be purchased here.

Drink and Draw at Jersey City Art School {Jersey City}

Come out for a night of figure drawing + drinks at the Jersey City Art School {29 McWilliams Pl.}. This *adult* call will have two nude models, snacks, and plenty of drinks available to ticket holders. Pre-order tickets for only $25. Guests should bring the medium of their choice. Teachers will also be present, but instructions will be given only if asked. Come and have fun at this unique event.

Saturday – September 30th

Lifespeed at Willie McBrides {Hoboken}

Lifespeed’s first of many appearance at Willie McBrides this fall and winter is happening September 30th. Willie’s is promising an insane night with Lifespeed in the house. Music starts at 11PM at 616 Grand Street.

Smith Wine Festival at Porta {Jersey City}

Porta {135 Newark Ave} is home to the Smith Wine Festival this Saturday from 1PM – 4PM. Take pleasure in great wine, good company, and rooftop views at this event where you will be able to learn about and sample over 100 wines. Get your tickets here. Each ticket purchased is an automatic entry into a raffle for a door prize from local vendors.

Sunday – October 1st

Hoboken Comedy Festival at Taphaus {Hoboken}

Join the Hoboken Comedy Festival Block Party at Taphaus {800 Jackson Street}. The showtime is 2PM – 4PM and is sure to be a great time. For all the info on the Hoboken Comedy Festival, check this out.

Cabaret Sauvignon at Third and Vine {Jersey City}

At Third and Vine {353 3rd St.} enjoy Cabaret Sauvignon — an all female acapella group covering tunes from Torch to Top 40. The festivities begin at 5PM and are sure to be spice up your Sunday. More info here.
