Youth City Challenge Race: Saturday, July 29th at Noon

AXIS School of Dance

Normally a race/obstacle course for adults, the July Youth City Challenge Race is geared towards the kiddos. This is what participants can expect during the 1.5 mile course located in Liberty State Park, Jersey City: 3 foot walls to climb, a 20 foot cargo net, a police car and taxi cab, military tires, police hurdles, bar crawl sprints, and water jug carry… just to name a few. Upcoming weekday events:

Tuesday, August 1st: Hoboken National Night Out. As an initiative that’s part of “America’s Night Out Against Crime,” this annual event hosted by The Hoboken Police Department and Stevens Police Department is meant to bring the community together for multiple reasons. Located at Church Square Park, the family-friendly event will include drug-prevention and crime awareness, tons of giveaways, free milkshakes from Birch, and even Disney princesses for the perfect photo op.

Wednesday, August 2nd: Movies Under The Stars. Gather the whole family at Pier A Park for a showing of the Oscar-winning movie Trolls. There will even be games for kids to enjoy before the movie to get them ready for the flick. The movie stars Justin Timberlake, Zooey Deschanel, James Corden, and more of Hollywood’s best actors.
