This restaurant from New York-based RB Hospitality Group found a home below the Cast Iron Lofts on the corner of 18th and Jersey Avenue back in 2019. Previously in the space was Brewshot Cafe, owned by Arun Nanda, who partnered with friend and RB Hospitality Group owner Rajesh Bhardwaj to break ground on Jersey Social.
Jersey Social had a chic, intimate feel, decked out with exposed ceilings and modern dim-lit fixtures. The bar featured spacious seating and two televisions to watch the latest games, which didn’t distract from the upscale modern décor. Aside from the high-top seating, there were plenty of table and booth options, and even a private room tucked away to the right of the bar.
Food and drink were at the center of this swanky establishment. From classic drinks to signature specials, the menu did not disappoint.
House-made popcorn was the first thing to hit the table. The menu had a variety of options from shared plates to larger meals, great for those in the mood for a full dinner or just some snacks.
Some of the shared plate options at Jersey Social were cauliflower poppers, shrimp skewers, loaded nachos, and chicken wings. Highlights from the main plates section included burgers, chicken parmesan, roasted salmon, a chicken Caesar wrap, and buffalo chicken pizza, among other dishes. The restaurant’s signature burger, called The Social Burger, was made up of Angus chuck, lettuce, tomato, cheese, caramelized onions, bacon, Social sauce, and fries.
