This past weekend I attended a fellow Jennifer‘s party – the one year anniversary of the Hudson Cakery! Now Jennifer Bunce, the owner and fabulous cake decorator of the Hudson Cakery, has been decorating and developing amazing treats since 2009…however, it’s been one year since she established her new location in Weehawken with a “storefront.” Congrats, girl!
Per usual, there were lots of delicious delicacies to go around. My favorites (besides the champagne) were the red velvet (melt-in-your-mouth) cake pops, white cotton candy, and gluten-free cupcakes…not to mention the [LOCAL] cheese from The Cheese Store Hoboken and some other crudites. Such a fun and tasty time!
You think I’m kidding about the red velvet?
I’ve seriously been dreaming about these cake pops. DREAMING. It’s a bit unhealthy. They were so amazing. Jennifer really knows the secret to a delicious red velv!
Besides making delicious-tasting cakes, Jennifer really is such an artist. Can you believe that the umbrella + girl above (should I know this character?) is actually a CAKE?
Here’s a picture of myself and Jennifer – thanks for such a fabulous time!
