Jersey City Police + Fire 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive: Monday, September 11th

The Red Cross relies on volunteer donors for the nearly 14,000 blood donations needed every day to support patients at about 2,600 hospitals and transfusion centers nationwide, so your participation will make a difference.

For Lauren, Hoboken was meant to be a temporary home until she made her way in the big city — but now she can’t imagine ever leaving. By day, she’s a market researcher in New York City investigating the behaviors of her generation, but by night you can find her in Hoboken feeling the burn at a hot yoga studio, sipping on rose at a local bar, or binge-watching reality shows with her roommate at their cozy apartment. Helping others is a growing passion of hers, and she is always on the look out for local volunteering opportunities where she can give back to the community she loves so much.
