Jersey City Police + Fire 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive: Monday, September 11th

September 11th will always be a somber day in our country, especially for those in this area, but this year you can give back to the community that was the first point of refuge for hundreds of people who evacuated the World Trade Center and lower Manhattan that Tuesday. In partnership with 911Day.org, the American Red Cross, Suburban Propane, and the Jersey City Police and Fire Departments are hosting the Jersey City Blood Drive on September 11th from 9AM – 12PM at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City. The Red Cross relies on volunteer donors for the nearly 14,000 blood donations needed every day to support patients at about 2,600 hospitals and transfusion centers nationwide, so your participation will make a difference.
