If there are times you think your appetite could rival that of a competitive eater, you’ll get to put that gift to use with another Hudson Restaurant Week which starts Monday, July 24th. Whether you dine out on the reg or you’re looking to try that five-star hot spot for a fraction of the cost, there’s a little something for everyone to nibble and nosh on from July 24 through August 4th. This time around, there are 40 plus restaurants participating throughout Hoboken, Jersey City, Weehawken, and Ft. Lee, so we figured we’d highlight some of our faves. Get ready, get set, and go check out these restaurants and dishes that caught our eyes {and appetites} this year.

Birch

It’s the mullet of restaurants: fun and polished by day serving burgers and milkshakes, but at night, it’s a swanky place to party and dance the night away. You’ve probably heard of Birch’s INSANE milkshakes {including our very own HG version}, burgers, and fries, so if you want a classic meal with a decadent dessert ending to fill you up, you can’t go wrong here. Plus, mention ‘Hoboken Girl’ and get a free liquor spike to your milkshake. #yourewelcome

We probably don’t have to do too much explaining here, but what you might not know is that this popular steakhouse has one of the best wine pairing deals around. A two-glass wine pairing goes for $18 per plate for lunch and dinner. Just imagine diving into a juicy NY strip or filet with your favorite vino that perfectly complements the meal. Major noms.

Bistro La Source

A more intimate atmosphere makes Bistro La Source the ultimate date night spot, especially with its wine pairings for just $15. And for vegetarians, you’ve got options upon options here too.

Take a step back in time here, where vintage accents dating up to 150 years old will delight you just as much as the delectable food. You can look forward to specialities including filet mignon, homemade ravioli, and a Snoboken peach crisp.

Bring the whole family, your co-workers, or a new date to the Madison for great food in a comfortable, yet sophisticated atmosphere. Enjoy crowd pleasers like wings and meatballs or a three-egg omelette and key lime pie.

Sweet Tooth

The Brass Rail

Nothing gets the crowd going like Nutella desserts, and for Hudson Restaurant Week, The Brass Rail is flaming up a twist on a French classic: Nutella Crème Brûlée.

Halifax

You’ll feel peachy keen after you sink your teeth into the peach melba sundae at Halifax, where you’ll also get to enjoy coastal favorites sourced locally and made with sustainable ingredients. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu here.
