Little Bee Learning Studio | 163 4th Street

The Pinta & Play class at Little Bee Learning Studio allows children to tune into their creative side. It is a great way to have your child paint, explore, and get messy without having to do it at home. On the more educational side, this is also a great place to pick up Spanish vocabulary and focus on your child’s language skills at an early age.

The Little Play Co. | 1400 Hudson Street

Everything is cuter in miniature, and the play space at The Little Play Co. is no different. With scaled-down replicas of Hoboken landmarks such as the Lackawanna Terminal and other places kids love, like a fire station, a restaurant, and a construction site, there’s plenty of space for make-believe. Caretakers can reserve the space for a small group playdate, a party, or drop-in during open hours. Little Play Co. also offers child care.

Symposia Community Bookstore | 510 Washington Street

Symposia Community Bookstore is the home of Puppetonia, an educational puppet troupe run by Carmen Mosu, co-owner of the bookstore. The troupe performs at various parks in Hoboken during fair weather, but during foul weather and colder months performs inside the bookstore. Check out the schedule online to find your favorite puppets.
