For those familiar with the popular women’s workout studio Jane Do, it is no surprise that co-owners {and former Radio City Rockettes}, Dani DeAngelo and Jacey Lambros are literally stepping it up right now, providing home content that includes at-home garage workouts, martini recipes, and live happy hours. They took a break from their busy schedules to share how they are staying healthy during this very odd time in the world as part of our new Quarantine Self-Care Series with local business owners. Below are some of their tried and true tips:

How do you stay healthy and not go stir-crazy during a quarantine?
With the temporary closure of our five studios, we’ve had to get creative to continue to provide workouts to our powerful community of women. We have been able to transform Jacey’s garage and Dani’s living room into full production studios. We’re live-streaming four classes each day plus capturing ongoing content for our brand new app. It’s been keeping us busy and active, which has helped tremendously to alleviate the ongoing anxiety.

What have you been eating? Do you have any recipes to share?
While we’re shooting fitness content, we’ve also transformed our kitchens to production studios to capture content for Jane DO On Demand, our brand new digital platform. Our favorite recipe as of right now is the “quarantini.” We blend ginger, fresh lemon juice, and cayenne pepper then add tequila, coconut water, and shake it up. When you’re not sure what day of the week it is, we call everyday Friday.

What product do you admit to stockpiling?
Lemons and tequila.
Are there any online exercises you recommend?

What have you been able to creatively recreate from your daily routine at home?
We’ve been really fortunate to be able to maintain our routine with our virtual happy hours. Monday through Friday at 5:00PM, we go live on Instagram to share our day and connect with our Janes. A little spirit goes a long way when trying to lift yourself. Knowing that we are all in this together is giving us the strength to power through.
