The Liberty Humane Society brings you the adoptable pets of the week!

PUMPKIN

Pumpkin

Pumpkin has been one of our LHS favorite cattery residents for almost a year now, and while we love her to pieces, it’s time for Pumpkin to find her forever home. This adult tortie female is nothing but a bundle of cuddles, contented purrs, and love, just waiting for you to find her! Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV negative, Pumpkin is all ready to go home. Pumpkin asks that when you fill out your application for her, you please reference exactly how many times each day you will tell her she’s the best cat ever, your petting schedule, and three references on your cat cuddle skills. Pumpkin is accepting applications Tues – Fri from 2-7 pm and Sat & Sun 11 am – 4 pm.

RUTGER

Rutger Collage

Little woof! Hello, friends! My name is Rutger, and I am a small pittie / Basenji mix. I’m a petite girl, so even though I’m fully grown at three years of age, I only weigh 28 lbs. I’m the perfect size to fit right in your lap! I’m a friendly, outgoing, confident little lady. When I meet new people, my butt starts wiggling, and I give out lots of sweet kisses. I’m a real people pleaser!

I have excellent manners. I easily share all my food and treats, I walk brilliantly on my leash (no tugging here!), I don’t jump up or act silly, and I *love* being petted and cuddled. I’m a real A+ doggie! I would do well in just about any type of household, including one with young children. My gentle manners, easygoing personality, and petite stature would make me an ideal doggie big sister to some little humans. That would be the best! I’d also do well in a multi-dog household. I am dog neutral overall, but I seem to do best with male dog. I haven’t shown myself to be really playful with my fellow pups, but I’d be fine to live with a mellow dog like me. If this sounds like your pooch, please bring him along when you come to visit me.
