Celebrate the most festive month of the year with singer-songwriters, bands, and other talented artists in Hudson County. December 1st — New Jersey Symphony Orchestra at 1:00PM @ Hoboken Public Library

December 5th — NJCU Jazz Guitar at 8:00PM @ Fox and Crow
New Jersey City University’s jazz guitar ensemble will perform this Thursday at the Fox and Crow in Jersey City. This group of guitar majors with chamber music experience is directed and coached by Dr. Ana María Rosado. Don’t miss this awesome event at 8:00PM. Find out more details here.
December 6th — Horton’s Holiday Hayride at 7:30PM @ White Eagle Hall
A concert for all ages, Horton’s Holiday Hayride will feature music from Reverend Horton Heat, Voodoo Glow Skulls, The 5.6.7.8’s, and Dave Alvin. December 7th — Nine Deeez Nite at 11:00PM @ Willie McBride’s
Throw it back to the decade of pop-punk and low-rise jeans with this ’90s tribute band, Nine Deeez Nite. They previously opened for the Red Hot Chili Peppers at Metlife Stadium and perform at Rutgers University Dance Marathon each year. Featuring songs by artists like the Backstreet Boys, Vanilla Ice, and Snoop Dog, this four-man band is sure to bring out your inner teenager. Check it out here.

December 8th — A.C.E at 7:00PM @ White Eagle Hall
South Korean KPOP group A.C.E will perform at White Eagle Hall next Sunday at 7:00PM. They will feature their latest album “Under Cover” with each of the five members’ talent showcased. Doors open at 6:00PM and tickets range from $55 to $145. For more information about the event, head here.

December 11th — Beninghove’s Hangmen at 8:30PM @ Fox and Crow
Composer, writer, singer, and philanthropist — Bryan Beninghove is set to perform in his home area. After five albums, Beninghove is a veteran in the industry with his music being heard by large audiences and networks such as Bravo TV and Comedy Central. December 12th — Silent Night Deadly Night Show at 8:30PM @ FM
The Silent Night Deadly Night show at FM Restaurant, Bar, and Lounge in Jersey City will feature bands like Jynx, Concrete Dream, This Curse, and Neon Funeral. Next Thursday at 8:30PM, catch this free performance with all the best local metal artists. For more details, head here.
December 12th — 2nd Annual Jeremy Beck’s Wintertide at 8:00PM @ Saint Ann Catholic Church

December 14th — Holiday Party and Benefit for WFMU at 5:00PM @ Monty Hall
Four artists will perform on stage at Monty Hall in Jersey City later this month as a holiday party and benefit for WFMU radio station. December 14th — October Rose at 7:00PM @ Mike’s Wild Moose Saloon

On Sunday the 15th, New York singer-songwriter Laura Stevenson will be on stage at Monty Hall. December 15th — Annual Holiday Family Concert at 1:30PM @ the Hoboken Fire Museum
An annual sing-along, the Holiday Family Concert will be held at the downtown Hoboken Fire Museum on Sunday the 15th at 1:30PM. All families are invited to attend to hear local musicians play classic holiday tunes {and join in, too!}. The event is sponsored by the Hoboken Family Alliance and the Hoboken Historical Museum. December 20th — Amish Outlaws at 11:00PM @ Willie McBride’s
Straight out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania {at least four of them}, the Amish Outlaws cover songs by Jay Z, Lady Gaga, Elvis Presley, and almost everything on pop culture radio. Their story is exactly what the band’s name suggests — they left the Amish lifestyle for the real world. Make sure you check them out at Willie McBride’s — they’ll be in full Amish garb!
