All About The Mizuho Americas Open
The Mizuho Americas Open is a fun event for all ages. The tournament brings together many of the world’s top women golfers to compete for a $3 million purse, which is one of the largest non-Major Championship purses on the LPGA Tour calendar this year.
The tournament takes place from May 15th to May 19th at the iconic Liberty National Golf Club. This course features beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty.
This is the second year Liberty National Golf Club has hosted the Mizuho Americans Open. But, this club has hosted previous PGA TOUR Playoff events and the 2017 Presidents Cup.
Global bank Mizuho America is the founding partner + Girl’s Inc. is the event’s non-profit partner. The purpose-driven event is dedicated to showcasing women athletes and that’s definitely an event The Hoboken Girl team can get behind.
Michelle Wie West, an LPGA Icon and Major Champion, will host this year’s Mizuho Americas Open — as 120 LPGA players and 24 top-ranked junior girls will compete side-by-side in the tournament.
Grounds Tickets + Upgraded Admissions Tickets on Sale
Tickets are now on sale for The Mizuho Americas Open. Anyone interested can purchase grounds tickets or upgraded admission passes for The Garden State Terrace.
Grounds tickets are available as single-day passes or a weekly pass for admission between May 15th to May 19th. These tickets include general admission, public seating, and access to the concession stands.
The upgraded admission passes for The Garden State Terrace are available from May 16th to May 19th as single or weekly passes. This ticket gives guests access to the upgraded, covered pavilion and outdoor seating over the 17th green + 18th tee. A selection of beer, snacks, wine, soda, and hard seltzer come with these passes.
Single + weekly parking passes are also available online. With the parking pass, attendees can park at Liberty State Park in Lot 8.
Complementary daily grounds admission passes are available for members of the military + first responders. Children ages 17 and under can also get in for free with a paying adult.
Schedule of Events
The Mizuho Americas Open is an exciting tournament held in Jersey City at Liberty National Golf Course from May 15th to May 19th.
The gates are open to the public starting on May 15th at 7 AM. The gates close each day 30-minutes after the final putt drops.
The first round starts on May 16th with the morning wave at the 1st + 10th tees from 7AM – 9:01AM and the afternoon wave at the same tees from 12:05PM – 2:06PM.
The second round takes place on May 17th following the same schedule as the day before at the 1st + 10th tees. The morning wave runs from 7AM – 9:01AM and the afternoon wave goes from 12:05PM – 2:06PM.
The third round is on May 18th at the 1st tee from 7:15AM – 12:12PM. The final round on May 19th runs at the 1st tee from 7:15AM – 12:12PM and the Closing Ceremony at the 18th Green takes place at 6PM or the end of play.
