A new metaphysical shop is hosting its grand opening on Washington Street in Hoboken today after moving from Jersey City to the Mile Square. Chrissy the Crystal Indigo is located at 423 Washington Street 2nd Floor in Hoboken, and provides a variety of services like energy healing, aura photography, mediumship, and more along with selling crystals, books, herbs, and other products. The Details
Chrissy The Crystal Indigo is a spiritual mentor and healer who helps people connect with their inner selves to find peace and purpose. Chrissy told The Hoboken Girl that she has had special abilities since she was a child. Over the last five years, she has become public about this and uses her gifts to teach others.

The shop was previously located in downtown Jersey City at 297 Grove Street. On Monday, November 11th, Chrissy The Crystal Indigo made its debut in Hoboken at 423 Washington Street 2nd Floor. The grand opening started at 3PM and will run until 8PM.

Speaking of the 11/11 opening — everything about Chrissy The Crystal Indigo is intentional. The shop opens at 11:11AM and closes at 8:11PM every day except Mondays, and all of the pricing at the shop also aligns with angel numbers (ex. $33.33).
This Hoboken metaphysical shop is truly a haven for gifts and metaphysical goodies. Chrissy provides energy healing, tarot readings, mediumship, Akashic records, and aura photography. A member of the HG team stopped by ahead of the opening and the aura photography was one of our favorite offerings.
The store also sells crystals, books, herbs, and oils, among other things — you can browse all of the items on Chrissy’s website.
In addition to the services and goodies here, Chrissy also hosts a variety of workshops and events each month. You can find the full schedule of events here — some upcoming happenings include a herbs + roots workshop, a full moon manifestation and sound bowl healing, a chakra workshop, an Astro chart workshop, and so much more. All events start at 7PM and are held in person as well as on TikTok live.

The first arrival of 2025 is rumored to be an upcoming film starring Willem Dafoe (who most recently portrayed Professor Albin Eberhart von Franz in Nosferatu) and Sandra Hüller. On Thursday, January 23rd, film crews lined the 700 block of Bloomfield Street for the majority of the day, with most of the filming done inside various Bloomfield Street properties.
Called Late Fame, the movie "tells the story of Ed Saxberger (Dafoe), who wrote a book of poetry a long time ago that no one ever cared about. When a group of young artists rediscovers his work, he must reassess his genius. The wild card in the group is Gloria (Hüller), a talented and mercurial theatre actress who toys with affections and who is all set to be admired by Saxberger, this legendary figure from a gritty New York golden age,” per Variety.
