If you’ve had their garlic knots but live downtown and don’t want to make the trek up, fear not: Napoli’s Hoboken is officially opening second location as of Wednesday, November 1. We originally reported about this developing story on Sunday, but it looks like its expansion is finally happening this week after a few months of construction. The new spot is situated at 133 Clinton Street in the old {OG} Grimaldi’s location. It’s safe to say we’re excited to get some more quality downtown pizza and pasta, so Napoli’s, we’re welcoming you with open arms.

Known for its delicious pizza Neapolitan-style and vodka pizza, {oh and did we mention garlic knots?!} as well as an array of pasta and ravioli dishes {helloOo chicken parm and penne vodka}, downtown Hoboken will now have more yummy Italian on speed dial that will help solve cravings in a pinch.

We spoke with the owners Frankie and Jocelyn Volpe, and they shared that they would have the same phone number for deliveries — which are free BTW — and if you call their regular number it will just be transferred to the downtown spot. # is: (201) 216-0900

As far as hours, the new spot will be open Monday and Wednesday 11:30AM-10:00PM, Thursday 11:30AM-11:00PM, Friday and Saturday 11:30-midnight, and Sunday 11:30AM – 10:00PM. These hours are subject to change, but the owner shared them with us as of Tuesday, October 31st.

The downtown restaurant will serve the same menu and offerings as uptown, and it’s also BYOB. It has a bit more upscale vibe than its counterpart, but same homey feel.
A few of the things you *must* try on the menu:
– Vodka pizza
– Arancini {three balls of risotto, Mozzarella, and peas with a side of marinara}
– -The Hoboken Salad {Mesculin greens with grapes, pecans, cranberries, apples and goat cheese in a raspberry vinaigrette}
– Margherita pizza
– Sicilian pie
