Online Course Offerings
Getting a degree while working and finding time to socialize can be hard. NJCU offers over 500 graduate + undergrad online learning programs that provide flexibility and convenience for students. Notably, NJCU offers many online Master’s program for those looking to achieve their Master of Arts in Education. These programs are based 100% online and include:
- Master of Arts in Educational Technology
- Master of Arts Degree in Educational Technology with School Library Media Specialist Certification
- Masters in Reading/Reading Specialist Certificate
- Master of Arts in Teaching: Special Education: Teacher of Students with Disabilities Endorsement Eligibility Program
- Master of Arts in Teaching: Special Education—Autism Specialization
- Certificate in Assistive Technology (15 credit certificate course)

New Pathways to Teaching Program
NJCU also offers a unique, specialized program for those who want to start their teaching career + become certified teachers in NJ. The New Pathways to Teaching in NJ Program {NPTNJ} offers a teacher preparation program that is fully designed to provide students with the skills + knowledge needed to become successful teachers. So, if you’ve ever thought about changing careers or becoming a teacher, NPTNJ might be just what you’re looking for.
The program ranges from partnering with local community colleges to being able to complete it for credit or not for credit, but one of its key qualities is that it is filled with a diverse group of participants from all over NJ. Business professionals, doctors, lawyers, architectural designers, and editors, to name a few, have gone through the program and joined the dedicated community of teachers in NJ.
Additional program features include 100% online instruction, split semester classes, credit conversion (so you can come back later and complete your Masters), and dedicated administration and instructors. NJCU Summer Music Camps
This summer, NJCU is offering innovative and engaging music camps for aspiring young musicians of all abilities {for children in elementary and middle school}. At NJCU’s Piano Camp, campers will have access to practice and learn in the university’s piano lab for a one-of-a-kind experience. NJCU’s two-week Junior Music Camp focuses on campers creating music together via sing-alongs, arts + crafts, and musical games.
