With everything going on in the world right now, many of us have been scratching our heads thinking, “What can I do to help?” With a love for people, art, and alliterations, the Hoboken Girl team will be hosting Pier A Portraits for a Purpose to benefit victims of Hurricane Maria. HG team member and local artist Michelle Lupo will be setting up her paper and pens near the gazebo on Pier A this Sunday from 1:00-5:00PM. Alongside Michelle will be Hoboken Girl photographer Will Ferman who will be snapping professional {human and pet} portraits with his camera on the waterfront Michelle will be doing pencil-sketched portraits for individuals and Will will be taking photo portraits of individuals/families who would like to donate to The Hispanic Federation to help the victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

About Michelle:

Michelle Lupo is an artist and Hoboken resident {as well as Hoboken Girl team member}. She specializes in portraits, but will probably draw you anything you ask for. She enjoys red wine, a good laugh and a nice long run.

About Will:

Will Ferman, the dog contributor for Hoboken Girl, is of Puerto Rican ancestry. Will’s grandparents live in San German are doing well despite limited access to electricity, water and cellular signal. They were fortunate to not be hit as hard as other districts and suffered very minimal damage to their home. Most were not as fortunate. He is honored to be donating family and dog portraits to help aid his beloved home country in this desperate hour.
