June is here, which means it’s officially Pride Month. Though Hudson County officially celebrates Pride in August, there are still lots of fun events happening in June to honor and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. Whether you identify as LGBTQ+ or you’re a devoted ally, we’ve rounded up a list of Hudson County events in June for Pride 2022.

Hoboken
Hoboken Talks: Randy Wicker, Iconic Gay Rights Activist, With Hassan Khan
June 2nd | 7PM
The Hoboken Historical Museum is hosting an online event to kick off Pride Month. This talk will be hosted by special guest iconic gay rights activist Randy Wicker, with guest host Hassan Khan. A Pride Celebration + Queer Cinema Screening
June 5th | 12PM – 6PM
The Hoboken Historical Museum, located at 1301 Hudson Street, is hosting a Queer cinema screening plus a Q&A with filmmaker David De la Fuente and festival director Jane Steuerwal in honor of Pride Month. Pride in the Passageway
June 5th | 12PM – 4PM
Hudson Pride Center will have an information table at the Hoboken Historical Museum, located at 1301 Hudson Street. Hoboken Rainbow Family will also be sponsoring an arts and crafts table for kids and families, among many other offerings. Admission is free, though donations are appreciated. This wine + cheese mixer will be held at the Hoboken Historical Museum, located at 1301 Hudson Street and will allow guests a chance to mingle with one another between other events at the Hoboken Historical Museum on June 5th. Click here to learn more.
Pride Month Flag-Raising Ceremony
June 6th | 5PM
Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla and the City of Hoboken invite residents to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month with a flag-raising ceremony at City Hall, located at 94 Washington Street.

Drag Queen Story Hour at Church Square Park

Official Pride Bar Crawl LIVE!
June 18th | 2PM
This Bar Crawl is a chance to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community while having a fun day and evening. Participating bars, which are subject to change, include Wicked Wolf Tavern Wild, Moose Saloon, Birch Nightclub, Fat Taco Tequila Bar, and The Shannon Bar. Click here to get tickets.
Hoboken Public Library Pride Book Discussion
June 21st | 6:30PM
The Hoboken Public Library will be hosting a book discussion on Honey Girl by Morgan Rogers on Tuesday, June 21st at the Hoboken Public Library, located at 500 Park Avenue. Hoboken Family Pride March
June 25th | 9AM – 12PM
On Saturday, June 25th, the City will host a Hoboken Family Pride March at Maxwell Place Park, located at 11TH Sinatra Drive N. The free event, organized in partnership with resident Sam LaRoche, will include coffee and pastries donated by The Hive, popsicles, face painting, and more. Our Lady of Grace Church Pride Mass

This mass will be held at 400 Willow Avenue. In the wake of Florida’s governor signing a “Don’t Say Gay” law that will marginalize LGBTQ residents and youth, Our Lady of Grace Church is proud to celebrate its 5th Annual Pride Mass. This year’s theme is “An Eternal Truth: God Graces Each Life.”

The LGBTQ+ Prom Fundraiser
June 10th | 3PM – 6PM
Hudson Pride Center will be holding its first annual Prom Fundraiser in Jersey City on June 10th – which is open to the public. Those participating can enjoy an open bar, buffet, music, dancing, and more entertainment at White Eagle Hall – 337 Newark Avenue in Jersey City. In addition, all the funds raised from the LGBTQ+ Prom Fundraiser will go directly to supporting the center’s daily operations, programs, and services. You can purchase tickets here.
MENAGE: PRIDE @ The Golden Cicada
June 18th | 12PM – 6PM
Menage, Jersey City’s Roving LGBTQ+ Dance Party, will be hosting a big party to celebrate Pride Month. The event will be held at 195 Grand Street, and a portion of all ticket sales will go towards benefitting the 2022 Jersey City LGBTQ+ Pride Festival. Click here to buy tickets.
Your Guide to St. Patrick’s Day Events in Hoboken + Jersey City for 2025
St. Patrick’s Day, a celebration of Irish culture, an excuse to drink green beer, and the day where we eat as much corned beef and cabbage as we possibly can, falls on March 17th. This holiday, which was first called the Feast Day of St. Patrick, was established in 1631 by the Catholic Church to honor St. Patrick, the primary patron saint of Ireland. March 14th — Hoboken Luck Of The Irish Bar Crawl | Multiple Locations
The Luck of the Irish Bar Crawl will take place on March 14th at 5PM. Attendees should check in at Madd Hatter, located at 221 Washington Street, between 5PM to 9PM to gain entry to the crawl. Specific details regarding this event, including check-in locations and the official schedule, have yet to be announced. March 16th — Saint Patrick’s Day Party at Hoboken Elks | 1005 Washington Street
The annual Saint Patrick’s Day Party, hosted by Hoboken Elks, takes place on March 16th at 3PM. To celebrate Irish culture and traditions, this event will feature a buffet of corned beef and cabbage, Irish music, and authentic bagpipers. The cost to attend this party is $20 at the door. March 16th — St. Patrick's Day Bar Party Shamrock at The Shannon | 106 1st Street
On March 16th at 5PM, The Shannon in Hoboken will host a festive bar party for all St. Patrick's Day lovers. Locals can expect St. Patrick's Day-themed drinks, lively music, and more. March 16th — St. Patrick's Day Party at Madd Hatter | 221 Washington Street
This party at the Madd Hatter in Hoboken will kick off at 6PM on March 16th. This event will feature fun drinks, light bites, Irish music, and "a sea of green," as per Eventbrite. March 17th — Hoboken Official St. Patrick's Day Bar Crawl | Multiple Locations
Hoboken's official St. Patrick's Day Bar Crawl has returned for 2025. This year's event, which features festive drinks and live music, takes place on March 17th at 5PM. At least 12 local bars are participating, which includes House of 'Que, The Shannon, The Ainsworth, Wicked Wolf, and Black Bear. The check-in will be at Madd Hatter, located at 221 Washington Street. March 17th — Shamrock Shakes at Hoboken Public Library | 500 Park Avenue
Locals can join Ms. Brenda at the Hoboken Public Library on March 17th to make homemade shamrock shakes. This event occurs from 3:30PM to 4:30PM and is geared towards teens ages 12 and up. See the library's website for all the details.
March 17th — St. Patrick’s Day at Willie McBride’s | 616 Grand Street
The Irish pub and restaurant, Willie McBride’s, will have a St. Patrick’s Day celebration on March 17th. There will be live music by local bands starting at 5PM. Learn more about this event here.

March 10th — St. Patrick's Flag Raising + Celebration 2025 at Brennan Courthouse | 583 Newark Avenue
In honor of St. Patrick's Day, Hudson County will host a flag-raising and celebration in the Rotunda of Brennan Courthouse. On March 10th from 5PM to 6:30PM, participants can expect live music and light refreshments. See the county's website for more details.
March 14th — Sip + Sláinte: An Irish Whiskey Cocktail Experience at Hudson House | 2 Chapel Avenue
Cocktail enthusiasts can join Hudson House's expert mixologist for an Irish-inspired cocktail class on March 14th from 7PM to 9PM. Attendees will learn how to craft three cocktails made with Jameson Irish Whiskey and other premium spirits. There will also be paired light bites and a charcuterie spread. March 15th — Lucky's St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl | Multiple Locations
This bar crawl features two to three shots included with the ticket, an after-party, and over five different venues, including Boots + Bones, Hudson Hound, O'Hara's Downtown, and more. Lucky's St. Patrick's Day Bar Crawl will occur on March 15th from 4PM to 12AM the next day. Locals should check in from 4PM to 6PM at The Ashford, located at 145 Newark Avenue. March 15th — Jersey City St Patrick's Day Bar Crawl | Multiple Locations
Pub Crawl's official Jersey City St. Patrick's Day bar crawl, which features themed drinks, live music, and more, will take place on March 15th at 1PM across the City. March 17th — St. Patrick’s Spa Day at Newport Centre Mall | 30 Mall Drive West
Glitter + Glam, a spa party company, will host a kid-friendly spa day at the Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City on March 17th. March 19th — St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Secaucus Recreation Center | 1200 Koelle Boulevard, Secaucus
