• The Spray Tan Chronicles: Air Brush Tan at Dina’s Kiss and Makeup Cosmetics

On Friday, I took my pale legs and went to Dina’s Kiss and Makeup at 57 Newark Street in Hoboken for an airbrush tan. Since I had a bridal shower and bachelorette party to attend this weekend, I felt it was a necessity to not look like Casper the ghost in every photo we instagrammed. DKM Cosmetics store is known for its high quality spray tans at a low cost ($25 – can’t be beaten!). So this Jersey girl was pretty much in h-e-a-v-e-n.

I mean when you’re driving and see your legs are THIS pale, it’s time for a spray.

Dina’s hours are in the afternoon/evenings – so make sure you check her schedule and call ahead; she books up fast!

Here’s what my spray tan looked like:

Natural looking tan – no streaks! Wearing a necklace from Aaraa Boutique in Hoboken – it’s my new favorite.

Me on the right with the beautiful bride (left) in her Shoshana dress – feeling tan but not orange, always a good thing!

While waiting for Dina to finish up her bridal consultation/makeup trial (she does those too – and I’m telling you, the bride’s makeup looked amazing), I was looking around her adorable little shop. It’s chock full of makeup and cute jewelry – plus this fun perfume: United Scents of America.

Light and Fresh NY or Beachy Buttery Popcorn from NJ – which to get?

Now it’s day 5 of my spray tan and I’m still feeling tan — the color is fading but definitely not peeling or looking patchy which is a NECESSITY when it comes to faux tans. I’d say my legs look paler because of exfoliation while shaving, but what can you do! No orange as you can tell from the photos as well.

Safe to say – Dina’s Kiss & Makeup is a perfect place to go for an airbrush tan…and for $25, you really can’t beat it!

Have you been to Dina’s Kiss and Makeup to get a spray tan? How was it?
