From concerts to photo ops to French festivals, this weekend is sure to be one for the books. Paddleboarding and Kayaking with Hoboken Ski Club: Thursday, July 13th at 6:00PM

On Thursday, the Hoboken Ski Club will be hosting both kayaking and paddleboarding at Pier 13 — starting at 6PM. It’s gonna be a hot one, so make sure you stop by {and if water’s not your thing — it’s obviously Thirsty Thursday so hang around for HH with them}. $25 to join!

Wet Barre Quickie Class: Thursday July 13th at 6:15PM

Get a little sip of summer while also burning off some calories exercising. Swing on down to Maxwell Pier this Thursday for a complimentary (yes, complimentary) Wet Barre Class outside. Cyclin’ for a Cause: Thursday, July 13th at 7:30PM

This combination CycleBar + Biergarten event is a win-win-win. A donation of just $30 reserves a bike but also gets you a drink ticket. The best part? The donation also is bringing support to two very important causes: The Madison Rose Heart Project {dedicated to a local baby who lost her battle to Congenital Heart Disease} at 6:30PM and True Mentors at 7:30PM. The City of Hoboken as well as ALEOmusic present The Led Zeppelin Engagement this Thursday at Sinatra Park. Celebrate these iconic musical contributions by bringing a lawn, chair, blanket, and friends to listen to some great tunes.

Pet Vaccination Clinic: Thursday July 13th from 3:00PM-8:00PM and Saturday July 15th from 1:00PM-6:00PM

Feministival Series-FUNtastic Summer: Friday, July 14th from 3:00PM-8:00PM

Feministival {an event for women, by women} is a fair in Jersey City happening this Friday hosted by our friends at JCFamilies. Attendees {open to both children and adults} are able to enjoy an evening of free fun. Their line up of events includes: music, food, arts and crafts, and even a bubble fest. This is a can’t-miss event, and it is all going down at Hamilton Park in Jersey City.

Mike Liegel & The Chris Paterno Band: Saturday, July 15th at 8:30PM

Maxwell’s & Devils Backbone Brewing Company present Mike Liegel & The Chris Paterno Band on Saturday, July 15th at Maxwell’s Tavern in Hoboken. The doors open at 8:00PM and the show starts at 8:30PM. Tickets are only $10 at the door. Rock on.

Lucky 7’s Rock n Roll BBQ: Saturday, July 15th from 1:00PM-Close

It’s the 3 B’s: bands, BBQs and beers. This Saturday, will be Lucky 7’s Annual Rock N Roll BBQ Block Party. The event is located at 322 2nd Street in Jersey City. Bastille Day: Saturday, July 15th from 11:00AM-6:00PM

Come and enjoy all things French this Saturday at Bastille Day in Jersey City hosted by the French American Academy and other French-focused businesses including Choc-O-Pain and Madame Claude Bis. Attendees of this free event can expect entertainment {food, games, live music and more}, booths {French themed vendors like savory crepes}, a prize drawing {50/50 raffle}, as well as a VIP Club {wine and cheese}.

Lowepro Photowalk: Saturday, July 15th from 8:30AM-10:00PM

In order to celebrate 50 years of innovation, Lowepro will celebrate by hosting an event with some of the industry’s best. Attendants of the event will get the privilege of capturing some of the most classic scenes {New York Skyline, the 911 memorial, and The Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal} while working with and learning from the photographers who know these scenes the best. Topics covered during the walk include: composition, smartphone photography, how to use natural light to your best advantage. The best part? Tickets are only $10.

Romeo and Juliet With A Twist:

Romeo, wherefore art thou? At a 1990’s rendition of Romeo and Juliet this weekend, that’s where. The show will be coming to the Hudson County Area, courtesy of The Hudson Shakespeare Company. The shows are: Van Vorst Park, at Montgomery Street and Jersey Avenue, in Jersey City at 3:00PM on July 15th, Frank Sinatra Park at 7:00PM on July 17TH, Hamilton Park, Ninth Street and Jersey Avenue, in Jersey City at 7:00PM on July 20th and the Hoboken Public Library, 500 Park Ave., at 6:30PM. on July 27th. Free Summer Concert: Sunday, July 16th from 5:00PM-7:00PM

Name a better duo than a breathtaking view and some great music…we’ll wait. On Sundays from July 9th to August 27th, free summer shows will take place from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Liberty State Park. This weekend Andrae Murchison will be performing. Don’t forget to bring a chair or blanket to sit on while relaxing and listening with your crew. Here are all the deets.

Summer Nights at Pilsener Haus: Friday July 14th-Sunday July 16th

Sweet, sweet summer. Check out Biergarten’s live entertainment line up for this weekend: Friday will be Joe Taino Band at 8:00PM, Saturday will be DJ Bryant E at 10:00PM, and Sunday will be Craig Graham at 1:00PM. Nights here are sure to be authentic, electric, and fun according to Biergarten themselves.
