Whether you head out to our tropical happy hour at Birch {read the deets below} or you find other ways to escape from the week’s worries, there are more than enough events to keep you on your toes this weekend. Get out your calendars — here are the top 11 events this weekend in Hoboken and Jersey City. 

Featured Upcoming Event — Mcgregor VS. Mayweather at Harborside Atrium Presented by Lutze: Saturday, August 26th at 8:00PM

The biggest fight of the year isn’t an event you should let slide by. In case you don’t have plans yet, Lutze in Jersey City is hosting a Mcgregor VS. Mayweather party, where you can watch the much-anticipated fight go down on the big screen. The event will be held inside at the Harborside Atrium {147 Harborside Financial Center Platform} rather than outside at the biergarten to ensure the event happens rain or shine. There will also be plenty of food to satisfy munchies during the fight and DJ Laaz spinning beats. Presale tickets are $30, but will be $40 at the door {cash only}. This one stop pop-up shop features over 20 artist, food, and vintage vendors {many of them local!} featuring their work in the heart of Journal Square. And naturally, Flea Market Funk will be playing tunes all day to get you in the shopping spirit. Hike + Brewery Tasting Day Trip: Saturday, August 19th from 8:30AM – 6:00PM

Unfortunately, summer slowly creep out of town, but to give it the send-off it deserves, get down with DJ Marvilous at O’Leary’s Publik House {788 Garfield Ave} with $5 food and drink specials. And if the end of summer is making you feel extra stressed, there will be two free meditation classes, $5 acupuncture services, and a $10 massage chair station. The event is FREE, but a $5 donation is highly encouraged {supports WomenRising York Street Project}.

Bringing The Beach to the ‘Boken at Birch: Wednesday, August 23rd from 6:30PM – 9:30PM

If you haven’t been to the beach this summer {or if you just haven’t gotten enough}, Hoboken Girl’s beachy happy hour at Birch {92 River Street} will satisfy your summer needs. Join us for a night of cocktails + drink specials, delicious boardwalk-style bites, raffles, and more summer-style fun. Plus, you’ll get to taste the newest creation Birch has to offer — homemade gelato and alcohol-infused sorbet!
